Are you saying we'll never win more than 9 with a strong UGA, Bama and UF? I don't agree. If we get the right guy in here, our ceiling is a national championship. That right guy will lock down this state in recruiting, sign top ten recruiting classes on a yearly basis, and actually develop his players. It will happen if we hire Mullen or Frost IMO.

Yep, first two years he wouldn’t have to do much. Improved results can probably buy 2 more years with top recruits. His personality with continued improvement could be a well oiled machine.

They're in a bowl game every year now; that's just not something that football team is accustomed to.

His most talented team (2014) beat 3 top 10 teams in consecutive weeks.

But no need in going on and on about it. I just think warrants a much better opinion than "Well, he's better than what we have."

Sexton isn't going cost himself millions because Mac fabricated talk of death threats to players. He'll get 4-5mil to keep his mouth shut and take his talents to Corvallis.

We are historically better than GA. Hire the right coach and we can be elite again. No excuse

So you think it is ok to #emptyneyland in some kind of protest instead of having your Ass in the seats supporting a guy like Ty Chandler that is clearly fighting his rear end off for his state school????

You’re supporting TY chandler by trying to get him a new coach. Settling for mediocrity isn’t helping him.

I believe they were more experienced in the secondary last year. They also relied on some juco guys, and that isn't exactly "experience." Jonathan Cook has been one of their best defenders, and he was signed as a juco after Norvell was hired.

They have been hit hard this year. Two starters dismissed, and at least 2-3 others are out for the year.

Florida is still paying for Champ. That could effect their $$$ pool for a new hire to be paying for 2 coaching staffs like we were at one point

I've always respected your opinion, as you are usually the realist to the general optimist attitude of the RF but to say that our ceiling is 9 wins is a bad take

Not to mention they just fired a successful coach mid season and are trying not to pay him. I don’t see anyway they pull a sitting P5 Guy. Not even Mullen.

I agree with you here Bruin. In the long run it’s better to be in the seats supporting the players.

It's been discussed. All 3 of those top ten teams ended up 8-5. I think Nick gave a stat that he hasn't beaten a ranked team that's ended up better than 8-5. They played in a bowl last year at 5-7.
