It really sucks that this is happening with the first early signing period. If we do go after Frost, he probably would not start until January or late December at best.

He would leave for Knoxville the day after UCF's last regular season game.

You don't jeopardize your new job by sticking around at your old job. The only way he stays at UCF is if they make the playoffs, and we would need absolute chaos for that to happen.

Very very few of us know information of substance. Surely that's obvious by now. It's fun to talk about Gruden and Frost and to hear all the rumors. But honestly, is anybody trustworthy?

Currie is a professional and will handle the negotiations at his own pace and with the best interests of the school in mind. Lots of legal and contractual concerns come with firing and hiring coaches. LWS or Boro or DTO have no clue about the timeline or contractual details. They may hear a snippet of worthwhile information but all of it is second or third hand and not to be trusted.

Sit back and enjoy the coaching change. Jones will be gone when Currie is able to make it happen. That much is clear.

What QB would've looked good with the playcalling like that today? In their second game and no play calls to account for the backside blitz. Tell me what QB with these trash play calls..... Showing heart and not quitting in a game like that answer any and all character questions you all had. One turnover in a desperation pass is fine with me. Call better plays and he'll look better. He's not scared and is tough. Fine for young QB in his second game taking on the best team in the country.

He's definitely not scared and gives it everything he's got... no arguing that. But he is not going to improve from year two to year three for people to say he has "it"...
And Dobbs, and anyone else with legs (shea patterson, Nick Fitzgerald, even Hurts) could have looked better. Yes the play calling was horrible and the O line was horrible.

Right. Sunk cost fallacy.

Meanwhile, the players lose confidence and the distraction could cause the team to lose games that could be won with changes made by an interim. We should beat UK, but the uncertainty and negativity around CBJ could precipitate a loss.

But who knows? He could want out and they could come to an agreement.

Behavioral economics? Talk dirty to me...

Think if KY was a home game, he'd be gone. If he's still here after KY, and we lose, there's liable to be 50K for that game.

They're counting on homecoming bringing in alums. They might not be counting on the sour mood of those alums. I could see him being let go before LSU. The wild card is-- I think he's had enough and wants out. His reputation and marketability are taking a beating.

It will be interesting to see what the next week holds.

Boro and DTO are full of absolute doo doo.

He's been playing more and has a better playcaller stop the madness.

Oh and they scored 3 points versus Bama. Have fun with that comparison bud.....

wait.. that's easy--- our offense never scored a point. Did you even watch the game? There are half a dozen QB's out there who JG couldn't hold a candle to and they are freshmen or sophomores...

But maybe an interim can put a spark in this team and at least give us something to pull for. Let's salvage a winning record out of this disaster of a season -- we've got the talent.

I thought the same thing, but someone told me that apparently the assistant coaches do not get along at all, which is causing a lot of toxicity in the locker room as well. He thinks Butch will stay through the Kentucky game, because they may actually have a better chance of winning with Butch than without him.

I hope Kiffin gets mouth herpes

People have battered wife syndrome over this guy. He has never won as a head coach, and he basically gave us the Gaulden for USC. EDIT: and he's the reason our program is in the shape that it is right now.

Does he want to hear it all weekend from the alums? Also, I'm convinced Butch wants out. He wanted out last year. Should have been out last year. If your hearts not in it you're going to suck. That's why we suck.
