Recruiting Forum: UNofficial Oklahoma Pre-Game Thread

Croom should have made a better effort but y'all crushing a kid for the DB making one of the best picks I've seen in awhile is a bit much.

We need Croom.

He had a future NFL OL in front of him last year.
Okay? He played disturbingly bad in the second half. Two picks in the RZ, one was a pick six that ended any hope we had. He's also thrown at least 2 more picks that were dropped, one was a pick six. The OL got better this half, but Worley got a lot worse.

This would be my only complaint about Worley. Certain situations the ball NEEDS to go to your best. Like baseball in a tough spot for a pitcher. Make them beat you with your best pitch. 3rd/4th down - North/Pig is the option.

Blame Bajakian. That quick out was called specifically for Johnson.

Times like right now are when we need to put North or Pig in the slot instead of just sticking each of our receivers in one spot and never adjusting.

This is a good learning experience for our football team. This is the most valuable experience we could have possibly gotten going into SEC play. We could win the East.

I won't go that far.... Mizzou is looking pretty good again right now.... (wow, did I really just say that?) But, I think are chances of winning at least 7 games are looking a WHOLE lot better with the way this defense is playing.

I agree up until that last statement...we ain't winning the East...but I feel better about our chances to make a bowl game

Have you been watching what he has had to deal with tonight?
Yes. If you're trying to blame the OL for these last two picks, I recommend re watching the plays. He had time on both throws. One throw was more on Croom, but still it wasn't a good throw.

His first half was almost perfect minus a fumble. He plays that well in the second half and were still in this game.

Croom.

:stop: :bad:

Like Devrin Young, I have a feeling that's another waste of about 100,000 dollars roughly. Hopefully Momma won't come in here to give us a good piece of her mind though.

Sorry, I've just had to teach a lot of these football players, and I'm quite a bit jaded. Most of them are just walking waste of money, who never actually put anything back into society.

And Jason Croom is not necessarily one of them. Please don't interpret my post as such. I'm just speaking about football players and their 100,000 rides in general.

Wrong, safety made a great play to get arm on ball on second pick.
