Other than the UF game this year, this is the biggest game of the year, IMO

Agreed. If we win this game, I think we win out. Call me crazy or whatever but I think if Tennessee can go on the road and get a win like this, it's gonna give them some major confidence to finish out the year.

These are my thoughts exactly. The boys in Orange put it all together this week on the road and get that first big road SEC win for Butch. Vols win 34-24.

We matchup very well with SC. Key to the game is not letting Mike Davis get loose on first and second down and get in third and long situations and get after Dylan Thompson.

I really think we have our best offensive performance. Basically the Georgia game without the turnovers or the Peterman series.

Go Vols!!

They've been so close to getting that breakthrough win this year. I'm not big into moral victories but a lot of teams would've already packed up at this point, yet these guys keep fighting until the final whistle. I think this could be that big win that gets us over the proverbial hump and let's this young team know that they can win at this level.

If we can't be USCe, then we won't be Mizzou.

Missouri is better than SCe but I think SCe is the tougher game due to being a prime time night game in Columbia and the fact that they will be looking for revenge from last year. If we can beat them this weekend, we can beat anyone on the rest of the schedule, no doubt about it.

I think we have a good shot to win at SC, but if we don't I hope we compete and fight and take some momentum into the bye week. After a week off I like our chances in Neyland against the kittens. Then Mizzou and Vandy are burnt toast. I'm with OGbabyavi 34-24 good guys.

I'm just glad South Carolina is 4-4 and coming off three straight SEC losses.

If they were 6-2 or 7-1, I'd say we have no chance. I just don't think they're that good this year. We're giving them a lot of credit just because they have won 11 games the last three years. This is a down year for them. Probably hard to stay motivated when you're used to winning double digit games every season.

Their D is 89th nationally. Ouch. We should move the ball with ease. If our D returns to pre Bama form we got this.

Great minds. Already down with that prediction in Freak's thread to go with North getting 112 yards receiving.

OL is solid too for them.

If we don't abuse them in the middle, I'll be convinced jake doesn't even watch film. Every team has picked them apart with throws to the middle. Scheme for Moore when running. Anyone, even our horrible offense, can put points up against them. If our D doesn't lay a 1st half Bama sized egg, we have a good shot at winning.

I'm sure coach Jake doesn't watch game film. Why would he do that? Butch doesn't care about things like that.

You're one of those people who read a few words and ignore all the other words surrounding them.

And can't grasp hyperbole. Horrible combo

"If you were an opposing offensive coordinator, should you bother calling a pass play against USC? The evidence says no. With five weekends left in the regular season, USC is last in the SEC in rushing defense (208.4 ypg) and is the only league team allowing greater than 200 yards per game on the ground."

"Auburn shredded the Gamecocks for 395 rushing yards, most by an opponent this season. and averaged 8.4 yards per rushing attempt."

-USCe Rivals
This basically says "we should start Josh Dobbs"
