FWIW we are currently in 6th in ESPN's rankings with 10 commits in the ESPN300.

I only mention this because most of the NSD coverage is through them and it would be great for the program perception nationally to have us as high as possible.

Still criminal that they have Kahlil as the #7 DT (behind #6 Tuttle) and PW as the #4 WR. Hopefully some reranks are in order and we bump into the top 5 there as well.

On the regular 247 rankings (non-composite) we are less than 0.2 behind 2nd place. Even a small bump or a minor recruit pushes us up to 2nd overall.

You're forgetting ESPN though. Pretty sure they count in the composite as well

Wrong. Not if the rankings' orders are scrambled. (And they are.) I do agree with your math so good job there. It is just not enough info to assign a compostite ranking.

The composite is based off the recruits composite score and then calculated using 247s team ranking system. It's not an average of each sites team rankings.

It does. But it takes into account the players rating on each site, not the team rankings like the poster above you thought.

"Sucks", is putting it litely. When you have K Mac rated as the 46th best player in this class, a 4 star, somebody, meaning
espn "experts", don't have a clue.
