Recruiting rankings thread

I've been bored and playing with the class calculator. Assuming we sign 24-26 players total, no matter who we get off this list,

We will still finish between 280-285 points. Which most years would place us anywhere from 4th-7th.

Highest rated targets

1. Ricky Deberry
2. Tim Settle
3. Drew Richmond
4. Darian Roseboro
5. Kyle Phillips
6. Van Jefferson
7. D'Andre Walker
8. Darrin Kirkland Jr.
9. Sheriron Jones
10. Bryce Love
11. Ryan Newsome
12. Patrick Allen
13. Quart'e Sapp
14. Ugo Amadi
15. Kendall Bussey
16. Tyree St Louis
17. Ke'Shawn Vaughn
18. Justin Martin
19. John Kelly

So are you saying 4th to 7th is likely where we end up? Is this on all sites?

Yes, 247. They're the only ones with a class calculator. I tried countless scenarios and all of them had us ending with between 280-285 points.

Which over the last couple of years would place us anywhere from 4th to 7th overall.

SIAP, but can someone in the know summarize our current commits with the new Rivals player rankings that were done after the season, and summarize movement, any star, rank, or grade changes (ex., 5.7 3*-->5.8 4*, #200-->#175, 5.6 3*-->5.7 3*)? That kinda stuff.

One obvious is Kamara got his 5th star, give us two 5* on Rivals. Any other movement in the updated rankings with our commits you guys that are recruitniks and follow the details better than me notice?

Looks like we were rated at 4 before. There isn't an up arrow next to us. GA has an up arrow and a +2 and Oh St has a down arrow with a -2.

Phillips helps Vols climb in rankings

Tennessee moved up in the 247Sports team recruiting rankings for the 2015 class Saturday afternoon with the addition of Top247 defensive end Kyle Phillips of Nashville, Tenn.

The 6-foot-3.5, 250-pound Phillips — who's ranked the nation's No. 110 overall prospect in the 247Sports Composite — helped the Vols jump past Ohio State for the No. 4 spot in 247Sports' rankings.

Alabama remains No. 1, followed by Florida State and Georgia.

With a team score of 273.89, Tennessee now is just 0.19 points behind No. 3 Clemson (274.08) and almost five points ahead of No. 5 Ohio State (269.03). The Vols have 27 commitments for the 2015 class, including two five-star prospects, 10 four-stars and 14 three-stars.

@BruceFeldmanCFB: #Vols D-line is going to be nasty for the next few years with these DL studs coming in to go with the great Derek Barnett.
