That geographical distribution is a bit surprising, considering the perception that we can't or don't recruit Memphis effectively. I would be interested to know how many of the Shelby County signees came between 1998 and 2001, i.e. before the program began to decline appreciably, and how many of them were significant contributors and/or played their entire collegiate careers at UT. Thanks again for all of the great work on this project.

Have you considered reposting this data in the recruiting forum as well? It might find a more favorable audience there. As much data as you have compiled, it is simply amazing that this thread has not generated more substantive dialogue. The "recruitniks" should eat this stuff up.
