Recruiting

I love Zaay and am excited for her to be back. I wouldn’t call her a true PG though. She’s definitely more suited as a 2 guard. She can really score.

Of everyone on our team Jordan has the most potential to be a PG. She will get there.

Asking for a friend, should we be developing someone who can be a PG or should we be able to recruit a true PG? The friend is just trying to wrap their head around the philosophy.

Diana T. wasn’t a true pg but Geno worked with her to be the point guard and they beat us in a national championship game with no “true pg”. But it’s not like you are trying to make chicken salad outta chicken $#!+ with the talent Horston has. Plus she played PG in both high school and was a primary ball handler with team USA

We should be able to recruit a true PG if not then KJH will be looked at as a bad hire ?

What I’m saying is I think Horston IS true PG. She just needs to adjust to the game. Her assist numbers are crazy for a freshman.

Got to have post help......KK is not the answer now, or in the future. I know that is brutal but this team can never be a contender with her on the court for valuable minutes....She appears to be a sweet girl, but she is a liability that every competent coach will capitalize against us with. When her and Harris are on the floor together, we are doomed.
I agree when KK and Harris are on the floor at the same time our offensive potential is doomed.

Welcome Gapper to the board.....

Watching the Lady Vols rise back from the "fairly easy out" they had become, is both stimulating and strenuous...It can be both maddening and delightful, all in the matter of mere moments.

Coach Kellie and her staff will make the best player decisions, and bring in the type of recruits they want/need to make this endeavor a reality.

I'm sure none of us will agree on all of her moves, but she is the head coach, and we are little more than very interested observers.

Lady Vols all the way......
