The same Jeremy Hunt who was suspended for the entire season last year? Nice try. Pathetic, but nice. Next.

The Sean Banks that was dismissed from the team? The Kareem Cooper who sat out most of the nonconference schedule? Here's an idea, compare those punishments to those received by the likes of David Palmer, Freddie Kitchens, and John Parker Wilson. Be careful with those rocks, your glass house can't take much more.

Jeremy Hunt will leave Memphis with a graduate degree and his head held high. That's more than can be said for such Alabama saints as Cornelius Bennet, Gene Jelks, and Bobby Humphreys. Keep tossing, though. All the glass will be gone soon.

Yeah, they were arrested with drugs and beating their gf's. Your love affair with Cal is sickening to say the least. I love how you keep bringing Bama up.

Wow, a graduate degree from Memphis, what an accomplishment. He should have been kicked out last year. Bunch of thugs.

I bring Alabama for context. It makes it easier to expose your inconsistency there. I have no problem defending a coach who stands by players when they make mistakes. I'm not one of these sanctimonious halfwits who spends their time yammering about how people should lower the hammer on a bunch of 18-23 year old young men.

An Alabama fan calling anyone else's players thugs is like Rosie O'Donnel calling someone fat.

I am done, your myth has been exposed. Enjoy the Tigers getting dropped as usual in the 1st or 2nd round, that is, when they make it.

The only things exposed in this thread are your bigotry and hypocrisy. I'm glad you're done. It is much more fun debating with someone with at least an elementary grasp of the subject matter.

Also, since you told me what to enjoy, I'll retutn the favor. You continue to revel in being part of the most bigoted, delusional, and corrupt fan base in America. Now, go bow before your shrine to George Wallace, Bear Bryant, and Logan Young. Have a nice day.

Alabama fans cannot and will not ever admit the shortcomings of their institution. No matter how good of a person he or she seems to be, it will never, EVVVVVVVVVVVER happen.

This conversation has nothing to do with that. I admit UA's shortcomings all the time. He is just using it as an easy out.

Let's not forget Tyler Watts....he's better than that Andrew Zow...errrr....the black dude that actually won games despite his race.

SIU and Winthop were in the Elite Eight last year? They had two guys drafted in the first 20 picks of the NBA draft? Yeah, those programs are equivalent to Memphis, in exactly the same way that Norris Lake and a backyard pool are equivalent to the Atlantic Ocean.

You make a good point about Memphis going to the Elite 8 last year because the beat some of the true powerhouses of college basketball to get there like Oral Roberts, Bucknell, and Bradley. Wow tough competition its almost as tough as that joke conference they play in. Some high school regions in Tennessee are tougher than Conference USA. And dont give me that they cant help it mess. If they could play a little bit of football not even that much they would have been invited to jump to the Big East 2 years ago. They stayed in CUSA to be the dominate program because the great Coach Cal cant win against good competition see the New Jersy Net years. His only success has came at UMASS and Memphis where he could dominate inferror competion.

Yeah, all that inferior competition UMASS beat on the way to the Final Four. Also, remind me again the last time Memphis didn't play a nonconference schedule that got them on national television about 5 extra times. I love all these cluless homers who mindlessly blather about the toughness of the SEC questioning Memphis. Let's look at the last two years. Memphis has played at Alabama=Win, at Ole Miss=Win, Tennessee=Win, Kentucky, on a neutral floor,=Win, at Tennesse=Loss, and Ole Miss=Win. Yeah, the SEC has just worn them out.

Also on Scotsvol62's list of coaches who can't win against "good competition," Rick Pitino, Jerry Tarkanian, Tim Floyd, Lon Kruger, and Jeff Bzdelik.

Hat, you are the one that keeps bringing up the toughness of the Sec. Just because Memphis has beaten some decent Sec teams doesn't make a difference. It's not like UK,UM,UA, and UT are worldbeaters. Memphis played a VERY respectable non-con schedule this year. However, wins against UK and Gonzaga aren't exactly hathangers. Those two wins are their best wins this year. Memphis just looks sloppy on the court, granted they continue to win, and that's great. Defense is the only reason they stay in games because it sure isn't from great shooting. I would also suggest they start learning how to hit free throws as a viable point source.

Two things: 1. Memphis always plays a great nonconference schedule. 2. You are 100% correct about Memphis having terrible troubles from the line. I just think they have a number of guys who aren't good free throw shooters. For example, both point guards are awful.
