Something strange I just noticed, GA Tech is 2nd nationally in BA, 5th in HR, and 6th in slugging. Obviously, they hit well. That’s why it’s really weird to me that they are 78th in doubles.

The chairman of the committee actually gave a pretty thorough, reasonable analysis of why the Wolfpack didn’t get in. Thought it was fair and a lot of thought went into it. He ain’t no Joe Lunardi, that’s for sure!

We got absolutely hosed being put in you guys regional. You guys are easily the best in the nation and we should be better than the worst 2.

We have an elite offense.

Second best batting average as a team in the nation.

Kevin Parada is our stud. He's our catcher. 2nd most HRs in the nation. 3rd most RBI in the nation.

Chandler Simpson is one of the fastest players in the nation and leads the NCAA in batting average.

We have several studs on offense.

As good as our hitting is, our pitching is just as bad or worse.

Will be great to see your pitching vs our offense.

If we do somehow manage to explode on offense, our pitching will choke. Always does. We have to score at least 10 runs to have a chance.

My only complaint is Dallas Baptist.
Their was little talk about RPI until he discussed DBU and admitted it was too high to ignore.
DBU played a lot of the non-conf schedule in midweek again midweek pitchers.
They did not win enough on weekends to get in.
They played numbers game better than they played baseball

Shouldn’t in theory a mid-week guy from TTU, OU, Okie St, AM be good enough to beat a team like DBU? They also went 5-1 vs Maryland and Southern Miss in weekend series, who are top 16 seeds and won a series on the road at San Diego who’s in the field.

I was watching the championship replay on the SEC Network and he is 1 of 4 guys they just flashed on the screen.

328 to left, 334 to right, 400 to center. Left center is long at 391 and right center is 353. It’s bigger than LNS.

GT will really have to earn it if they are going to advance. I say that because they could possibly see the two best pitchers in the regional. Campbell has a potential first round pick as their ace, who I assume will throw for them Friday. And then if they win that one, they will likely see Dollander Saturday, another likely first rounder.

They can certainly hit though, so it will be strength vs strength.

Parada is different though. Probably a top 5 pick this year.
