Relax people

I can't relax. We got skull dragged by OSU during a game where the players seemed disinterested, and coaches had no game plan on either side of the ball. Now our remaining talent is hitting the portal. Will be lucky to win any conference games next year if we don't get some new players from the portal.

Bro needs a hug.. or any prescription anti depressant.

We've actually lost 15 as of right now and still ranked higher in portal rankings than Georgia, Alabama, Oklahoma, etc... We'll be fine when it's all said and done.
You're cherry picking things to make it sound better. They have immensely more talented rosters. They don't need a ton of transfers. We had a roster that already needed improvement and we lost a lot of depth and have added basically nothing to replace them. So not only did we not get better, we got worse.

Have you even looked at LWS’s 25 roster breakdown that is now pinned?

We have just achieved about 2 open scholarships the last few days. Had to have some portal exits to get legal next fall. Big HS classes have that impact.

We have 2 Scholarship WRs that haven't ever played in this system and our OL is a revolving door. I don't need to see a roster breakdown to know that.

You need to know we can only have 83 and with all our portal losses, just got to 81 for fall. So you can’t shop till you have room in the basket.

Sure but sounds like the numbers weren't managed very well at some positions if we lose 5 WRs and don't have room to replace them

I thought most everyone was pretty happy to see the Secondary get completley replaced last year. On the contrary, losing a 5 star freshman receiver in Mike Matthews is very concerning. Our offense is already losing its best weapon to the draft in Sampson. Our two senior WRs are out of eligibility and the others who hit the portal did so understandably. But Matthews was in line for a starting role and to be the primary target in the passing game.

Two years ago we had the Blitenkoff winner. It seemed everyone was thriving in our offense. Now its' a mass exodus. Something is very wrong to where the players don't want to stick around and help the offense revert back to form. They would rather use their eligibility elsewhere than take the risk in this offensive scheme another season. So yes, it says alot.

With all the success with FR WR this year around maybe we are counting on the 3 guys we signed this year to be better day 1 than all but 1of the departures. Obviously shooting for Branch, maybe more. Staff is s familiar with the talent level of each, unquestionably one up on you!

Think about it, they let the guys go AFTER the three were on board. It appears most with little if any attempt to retain. Some EE’s I think.

Step away from the edge. COULD actually be ahead of the game. Before considering letting Morris catch a few.

And usually you replace them with equal or better players if you want to do better than the year before. We have glaring holes in our roster and haven't done much to improve it

Most of the backups get were already replaced. That’s why they left.

We have few holes right now.

Yes, let’s judge Florida to be in ascendency by the farging Gasparilla Bowl. We’re decidedly better than a Tulane team decimated by the portal.

There’s no cause to be afraid of Sunbelt Billy.
The grass is always greener on the other side. They see Florida going 7-6 and would rather be in their position 😂. We have our own talented freshman who knows what kinda player lagaway or Nico will actually turn out to be. Way to early, but of course sky is falling; they have a shinier toy then me mentality around here.

For real. When you look at Lagway's numbers he didn't even do that great. People are just crediting him with being the difference in Florida winning or losing despite them playing great defense, and Nico is getting no credit for winning, only for not scoring as much as people want him to.
That's a very homeristic perspective but I get it.

You're right. The starters were so good this year on the OL. We definitely don't need to try to get better talent. We don't need WRs. We have a bunch of slow ass TEs we can trot out there and let teams load the box.

Good thing we didn’t land a 5* OT and a starting power 5 guard
