Here are my predictions- what are yours? Are the results based on your brain (gut) or heart

Kentucky W (head)
Georgia W/L (heart/head) A win there would be badass
Missouri W (head)
South Carolina W (head)
Vanderbilt W (Life)

We go 4-1 and make the playoffs. Although I think we lose at Gawja, it will be by no more than 7 points and the committee will not be able to deny us. Bama will beat UGA again. I just don't think uga is that good this year; however, the environment (home-field advantage) and their TEs (3 or 4) don't bold well for us. There will be 3 teams from the SEC in the plays. I'm probably wrong and have been before. Just my gut feeling as of today.

If we lose to Georgia, then our fate is in their hands... we'll need them to beat Bama. I don't think 3 SEC teams are going to the playoff. That said, it feels like the absolute worst case, wheels fall off, scenario is 10-2, which is a helluva thing to think about.

I cannot see Georgia keeping up with our offense. Barring injuries this week, we should be in a much better position personnel against UGA than we were vs Alabama. It is actually my head that tells me we have a really good shot against Georgia.
I agree. To this point, Georgia has not been tested by anyone (of course, nobody has an offense like we do) I think the most definite key to UGA is not to waste the first two possessions. I mean if Tennessee goes up 14-0 or even 10-0. We're sitting pretty.

I’d feel much better if it were 21-0. Take everything out of the environment and put all the pressure on Georgia. If Tennessee gets the crowd to check out early the team will follow.

Georgia is going to be a knock-down, drag-out fight. Not a person here will be comfortable the entire game. Pins and needles. Thrills and spills. Agony and glory. It's gonna be that kind of a game.

Can we win it? Absolutely.

Can we lose it? Absolutely.

I just want the lads and coaches to know, we got their back. Win, lose, or draw, they are having a special season and we appreciate them for every bit of it.

I know, I know, we're going to have some idiots shouting to fire this coach or that coach. We'll probably even have some asses insulting a player or two.

And that's if we win. They'll be even worse if we lose.

But the vast majority of this fan base, we know how to be appreciative. How to love unconditionally. And man, do we love the '22 Vols.

Let's whup that Ky butt, then give our all against the Dawgs.

Go Vols!

If Tennessee wins out there is no argument to be made on who is the #1 seed.

I can’t see a late season loss and Tennessee still making the playoff. You’ll get one of OSU/Michigan, Georgia, Clemson, and should Tennessee lose Bama slides in.

Bama only slides in if they win out including the SEC championship game. If they lose another game - it would be either 1 loss OSU or Michigan or possibly undefeated TCU. If Bama has 2 losses and gets in above any undefeated to 1 loss team - the selection is a joke.

Assuming Tennesse takes care of business for the other 4 teams:

- Loss to UGA and UGA wins SEC game; if two SEC teams get in the other must be Tennessee - Anyone else has 2 losses and/or was beaten by Tennessee.
- Win to UGA and loss in SEC game; once again if two SEC teams get in - Tennessee would be the second because of the victory over UGA

The only way Tennessee doesn't get in is one of the following:

- Only one SEC team makes it and they don't win the SEC championship
- More than one loss this season
- Possibly a bad loss to UGA (e.g. not close)

But this all is a moot point if we win out - which my gut says is very possible!

That's not happening...no worse than 11-1 (regular season)

I totally agree with your assessment, but no one will even discuss how we stop them. I think we could definitely shut down their run game which looks putrid at times
