Makes sense to me, but for some reason OSU gets a ton of praise every year regardless of who they beat. It would be a crime to not put us in front, but I wouldn’t be shocked. Doesn’t really matter though. If we do go 12-0 the playoffs will give us a chance to make our case.

We’re winning them all. No one is keeping up with this offense. Bama was the best chance to give us an L.

Levis is really good and, if one is being objective (and not a fan for a moment), our pass D is atrocious. Also, Hooker wasn’t particularly sharp against UTM. Missed some throws and let the ball hang WAY too long on the deep ones. They’ve got a ball hawkish secondary. Besides, when is the last Kentucky game that was easy for us. Maybe 2018. Last year sure wasn’t, and it’s the same teams.
Not saying we’ll lose, just saying it’ll be tough…..IMHO anyway 🤷🏼‍♂️

And that's if we win. They'll be even worse if we lose.

But the vast majority of this fan base, we know how to be appreciative. How to love unconditionally. And man, do we love the '22 Vols.

While I agree with all this UGA logic as the probable close game outcome, something tells me it’s either Kirby is able to control the clock and dial up something no one else has done w their D talent/depth…or it’s gonna be a real shocker and we beat them by 14+ because they just can’t keep up w Hooker and co…kinda like LSU where they are chasing us the whole game. Think it could be the later…

Here's how my head and heart feel:

KY - W (this one will be closer than everyone thinks; Vols will not cover the spread...head and heart agree)
UGA - L (That secondary has yet to be tested and the Vols will test it but they've still got just one or two more players than we do...head, but in my heart I want a win)
USCe - W (We end that 'winning streak' of Beamer's; head and heart agree)
Mizzou - W (They've shown flashes of heading the right direction this year, but they can't keep up...head and heart agree)
Vandy - W (We might need to start a gofundme account to replace the scoreboard after we break it in this one...head and heart agree)

That puts UGA against either Bama or LSU in the SECCG.
If UGA puts up a loss, we are likely outside of the CFP.
If UGA wins, we are in as we beat both of the SEC West teams.
Obviously my heart says beat UGA and win or lose in the SECCG, we're in the CFP.

Heart says we win them all only to fall to bama in Atlanta.
Head says we fight hard and win this week and lose to Georgia by a late field goal or some random thing (bvs).

This is likely, but if Penn State we’re to do the impossible and beat OSU, we could sneak in with a loss to UGA if they lose title game to Bama. Would kill their SOS, and mean even if they beat Michigan we’d be ahead of them imo. A loss to a one loss UGA is better than a loss to PSU. This is probably a pipe dream.

I feel like we’ll win all of the except UGA….that one is a coin flip.

If we beat UGA, the SECCG comes down to this. If we see Bama, I feel like there’s a real risk of dropping that game. If we see any other team, we win

We can win them all but if we lose to Georgia in a battle and run the table I believe we will make the playoffs. Right now today, nobody has a better resume than Tennessee does. Even Herbstreit conceded Tennessee had the best resume. But when polls come out Tuesday I will have no problem with Georgia being number 1. We play Saturday and that will settle things. As for the playoffs, I like where we are overall. GBO!
