he coached Brian Westbrook
and he has a stop in the SEC as a OC for Tennessee last year..

How could Florida pass up that resume

They could do a whole lot worse.

Like, say, hire someone who didn't even go to a bowl in this age of 92 bowl games in his most recent season as a coach.

Most logical and probably best choices would be

Kyle Wittingham,
Dan Mullen,
Bob Stoops, or
Will Muschamp.

My guess is Kyle Wittingham. He is a Meyer protoge' and the players wouldn't even have to learn a new playbook. Same is true of Dan Mullen, but Wittingham is a proven winner as a HC.

UT outgained Bama by nearly 100 yards in that game, so how as Bama dominate? They never lead by more than 9 points.

I don't see Muschamp going. He's got a sweet gig going in texas, and will take the reins of the easiest program in which to succeed under the current landscape. And if he's smart, he's paying attention to how Mack Brown runs his program, because right now, I don't see Muschamp being a great head coach. Couple more years of grooming... then maybe.

Had our chance??? Wait 'til we get our talent level back up in two or three years. Of course, Saban will have jumped to the highest bidder by then, but whatever.

Yeah man, we had a bunch of walk-ons playing in the first year of a new system. It's the only chance we will ever have. Hope everyone enjoyed it...
