Replacements at UF???

Dan Mullen makes a lot of sense for many reasons. Some of them were mentioned above.

Another consideration here is the same as when Spurrier left back in 2001. Urban left a tough act to follow, just as Spurrier did. Following a legend... its almost impossible to fill those shoes. A less marque name coach might actually be more willing to take the job (and career risk) than a big name coach. Shanahan and someone else, a big name who is escaping me, declined the gators in 2001. Might see the same thing for 2010.

Patterson just signed an extension with TCU...He's not going anywhere...Peterson possible but like I said before, Wittingham makes more sense...He would have Urban at his beckon call at UF since he is remaining with the program in one form or another.

This theory has merit, and Utah would be justified in declaring jihad on UF for stealing their last two coaches.

IF Saban ever left for the Gators, then UT would most definately never beat UF or the SEC again. Put that in your pipe and smoke it. Your coach said it best when he said we had better coaching and UF had better players.
