that was not the case. i dont know about you, but i watched them a lot that year. as i said before, they had some good games in there defensively, but other times they really struggled to keep the other team out.

and also, yes i know we scored 3, but can that was a bad year.

what do you mean by a weak defense? they gave up a lot of points a game, compared to most title contenders, but if you watched them, you would know they had a lot of trouble closing out games that year. they had games they should have been able to win easier but they couln't keep the other team from driving against them.

I hate to be defending anything Miami, however, only 4 teams came within 20 points of Miami that year...

Holy mackeral check this out. It's the TexasAgs forum and the FIRST POST in this thread is from January of 2006. Check it out. The end of page one begins the posts from August of this year. Apparently, the Bomar story broke in January, but only in this small scale.

Wow . . . The guy telling the story got absolutely killed in there. I guess at first glance though, the story did sound completely preposterous given how overt everything was.

It was a little strange how the original post said the girl didn't recognize the names, and then like 6 posts down, same poster says "It was Bomar"
