What has happened with per capita health care costs over the past 50 years? The problem isn't the ACA. Why are the republicans having such a hard time coming up with a repeal and replace plan? Most people knew they had nothing, it was another canned rallying cry meant to fire up a certain voting segment...it worked, now what?
It was easy at the campaign rallies to just shout out we are going to repeal and replace Obamacare. Follow that up with some bashing of Obama for something else, follow that up with lock her up, and it's off to the next stop.
But then he got into office. Now he has hundreds, if not thousands of people, pissing in his ear about thousands upon thousands of studies and all sorts of different ideas for how to deal with health care costs.
Thing is, no matter what route he chooses, he's now figuring out that somebody's ox will be gored. And he doesn't want to do that, because then there will be people who don't like him. He can't stand that.
