Rick Santorum isnt just winning tonight, he's hammering Romney in 3 states. Minnesota in particular is impressive. This will give him the headline tomorrow that he didn't get coming out of Iowa and a serious second look from the people that can't stomach Newt.

Santorum won Missouri by a landslide, with 86% reporting Santorum 55% Romney 25%

MN is impressive with 32% reporting
Santorum 45% Paul 27% Romney 17%
Santorum declared winner

They just updated CO with 11% in Santorum and Romney tied at 37%

Great night for Santorum , terrible night for Romney

Minnesota is flat out shocking. This is a state Romney won by about 20 in 2008.

The thing about Santorum is he's the only guy left with an Everyman type quality.

MN doesn't shock me going for Santorum, they produced Bachmann. If Santorum or Newt get the nod, Obama would be a near shoe in.

Seems like people are trying to send both Mitt and Newt a message.

I'm still trying to figure out who to vote for.

Forget policy stances, he just seems more relatable to the average person to me than a rich guy like Romney or a DC lifer like Newt.

I can buy this. Romney's character is like a carbon copy of every rich ******* antagonist from every movie since the beginning of time. Newt's ability to earn the ire of nearly every major figure of the Republican party over the last 20 years is astounding.

I'm really surprised. If Gingrich dropped out, Santorum might become the front runner.

At this point, if Santorum is the nominee I'm leaning towards Gary Johnson.

The Colorado numbers are shifting to Romney but the Minnesota outcome is really stunning. Pawlenty sure didn't deliver (again).

I don't see how he wouldn't. Just heard that the SuperPAC supporting him is basically funded by one guy. I'm guessing others will step up.

Heard the same thing... the rich guys will certainly take more notice.

On an aside, pretty funny (but not shocking) about Obama's change of heat on SuperPACs.
