I'm interested in seeing how this plays out. My understanding from actually reading the "Fairness" Doctrine doesn't lead me to believe that people like Rush will be eliminated. However, if that happens despite the fact that I think the man is just a "shock" pundit (same for Franken) it would be a serious free speech travesty.
Just implementing the Fairness doctrine will lead to many of these pundits losing their jobs. Many of these stations will go under or at the very least lose significant market share.
