Dang cancer. I have a good friend I grew up with, my age. It's been years ago, and she survived, but lost both breasts to cancer. She was mid 30's, just blew my mind her that young, and it that bad. Unfortunately, I've learned more over the years how deadly, and devastating cancer is, regardless of age.

And regardless when they catch it. My mom had stage 1 ovarian cancer. Her doctor just happened to feel the tumor, way before it would have shown up on any tests. Unfortunately finding it early didn't help.
