Restaurants Around The Country

It’s one of my favorites. Been going there for years. They did a great job with the remodel.
It will be a perennial pick when we go down there from now on. We went to Ela's on the Water the night after Quarterdeck and we liked Quarterdeck much better.

It’s definitely a good one. I’m at HHI every couple of months, so I’ve eaten pretty much everywhere down there.

Bros in Avon on the Outer Banks N.C. next to Food Lion. Sandwiches, subs, burgers etc. Bro made buns , spicy in house made pickles ,dipping sauces and dressings. Yellowfin tuna sub with the house pickles and wasabi ranch was top notch .

Anyone know any good places to eat in Pittsburgh or Williamsport?
Last time I was there, we went to Monterey Bay on the company nickel. I would bet, without proof, that all of the other restaurants at the top of the Duquesne incline are also good. especially if price is any indication. Holy cow was that expensive.

Been there once in 1975. The incline was one thing I did for sure. Did not realize it started in 1877(?). Seems like we went to a bar. Sounds out of my price range now.

In Minnesota, Rochester for my wife going to the Mayo clinic. Canadian Honker, and Newt's are 2 really good spots if you're ever in the area. We also stopped by cannon falls, and ate at a a little place called Brewsters driving here from Minneapolis. Just had lunch, but it was good.

If you're ever is St. Helena, CA do not miss the Bruschetteria food truck at the Clif Family tasting room. Man, there's nothing like getting a funghi bruschetta and a glass of Gerwurz on a sunny day. Nirvana.

Been there quite a few times. I used to live in Napa.

Thinking about other "Go to" places around the Cotton Belt and places the "Locals" go that I do or have frequented.:

Monroe's Hotdogs and Billiards, Americus, GA
Billiard Academy, Thomasville, GA
Lusco's, Greenwood, MS
The Crystal Grill, Greenwood, MS.
Iron Works Grill, Tellico Plains, TN
Quick Burger, Cleveland, TN
Champy's, Cleveland & Chattanooga, TN

Wish I could remember the name of it, but had excellent BBQ goat across the border from Weslaco, TX about 30 years ago

I just had the best sandwich called a tripleta. My Florida peeps have to check this place out.

You reminded me of another:

Indian Pass Raw Bar, Port St. Joe, FL.
