RFK out of the race. Tells America to support Trump!

I didn't ask about the budget. The fact is that the border was a minute issue under Trump. We need Hispanics because Americans won't do that work. There needs to be reform. We've been placing bandaids on it for a while. But there is zero comparison between Bidens/the dems handling of the border and Trump's. There's a reason there were thousands in a convoy headed this way the day Biden was announced as the winner. They knew, most people that had one ounce of common sense knew.

Here is an immigration analogy

A kick in the balls (Biden) is worse than a punch in the balls (Trump). Either way, your balls are going to hurt....

I compared it to the budget.

Trump was lousy on immigration (just like he was with the budget). He allowed his ag/construction constituency dictate limited enforcement of existing rules for his term.

Yes, Biden is worse with immigration (just like how he was worse with the budget). Biden sucking more doesn't mean Trump didn't suck...
This tells a different story but believe what you want.

Science is always difficult when dealing with an unknown. Conclusions change quickly when dealing with an unknown. There was a time table edict given for vaccines. That's the the last thing you want to do when dealing with an unknown. Do you know where the time table came from? He literally bragged about it for a couple of years in front of God and the whole world
I remember at the beginning, we had to keep in close contact with the infectious disease doc and he is pretty much the expert and even he was flying blind.. it was unlike anything anyone had seen before and for anyone to say otherwise.. they are lying.. people made a butt load of mistakes but I really think people did the best they could with the limited information they had.. I still feel like our anger at each other on either side of the aisle is misplaced and should have been/be directed at China.. those effers messed the whole world up when they a) had Third World Labs and b) went traipsing around at Chinese New Year.. a$$holes Edit: directed toward Chi Comm Govt not Asian people 😂 I know how y’all roll 😂

As I don't yours. That's greatness of the principles for which this country was founded. We were founded on a premise that we're all not supposed to think alike. We're supposed to be a melting pot. We make our choices in elections to govern us. Both sides have let us down the last 20 years. Never forget, there are literally more than 2 sides to every issue. Our elected leaders have done a poor job articulating our choices
I'm a registered Democrat and so were/is my parents. Had I been old enough at the time I would have voted for Bill Clinton (I thought he was cool and married to a witch, even then).

Trump gets on my nerves a lot of times. Most of the time he talks to much and as my dad would say "he talks when he should be listening." However during Trump's first term before covid things were going really good for my family and the country. My mother at the time said it was the best since Reagan. Prices were down from food to gas, there really wasn't a war going on anywhere.

Now we face two options hopefully going back to that or electing a ticket that I think is a true danger to this country's way of life as we've known it for generations. I think Harris & Walz will be the closest this country has come to electing pure socialists. She already said she wants to price control food and Walz has been to China over 30 times doing or talking about who knows what. They'll completely fling open the gates of our country to illegals from any & everywhere. To much is at stake to just set this election out.

The bill was bull. It still allowed thousands of illegals into the country daily. And, like the previous poster said had billions of dollars for unrelated bull crap in it. It was a trash bill.

None of that has a damn thing to do with Trump's actions, and when you point to your criticisms of the bill, all you do is reaffirm that Trump killed it because he didn't want the Biden administration to have any success, at all, at the border.

Any illegal that came in since around February and hurts someone, that is all Trump's fault.

First, as to immigration, he's lost any trust on that issue given his blocking of the bipartisan bill earlier this year. He has proven that he, like every other politician, views the issue solely in terms of what it can do for him.
The bill that would have done nothing to actually stop illegals from entering the country and would actually allow up to 2,500 a day to "legally" enter before a closing of the border would be considered.

Thankfully they did shoot that disaster down.

That's bull. If Trump influenced the decision to kill a bad bill then he was more of a president than the one you voted for.

Fourth, he doesn't defend science enough. He would, but when it promotes a result the business or social conservatives don't like, he doesn't stand up to them.
Defend science the same science that says there are two genders Male & Female? Or when a fetus is "a living human being"?

Well I disagree. But let's play the game. Then any illegal who hurt someone from January 2020 to February 2024 is on Harris and Biden. Who screwed up more? You all couldn't even admit their was a problem until the very end of 2023. Think about that. How the hell do you think this is winning issue, let alone one where you are all are being honest, is laughable. One of the Dems biggest problems is fear for calling an issue out bc they don't want to be called racsit. When racism has nothing to do with it.

I am leaving out the part where you wanted a bill that had way more than immigration reform tied to it. One that had massive funding for Ukraine. You would have to be a moron to not see the political move the dems were doing. Which once again points to you all not wanting to do anything about it. Poison pill. Dead on arrival. If you believed so strongly why wasn't it a stand alone bill? Answer that LG.

You’re smarter than this, don’t let the hate for Trump get the best of ya.

As expected, you provide only a partially snippet. Here are the facts

1. In each of Obama's terms, more people living illegally in the US were removed than Trump's 1 term.

2. Even with the increased apprehensions (the border patrol extended well beyond the border and one could say that is better emforcement), the number of undocumented living in the US per CIS was lower in 2022 than 2019. Even their 2024 estimate is a nominal increase over 2019.

3. The entirety of the increase (and then some) of undocumented people living in the US since 2019 was from no shows into immigration court. Wanna guess which POTUS significantly increased the size and funding of that program?

The timing of the bill is what is most irritating here. Biden could have initiated an immigration bill at any point during his term in office. Instead, he waited until election season. On top of that, as you pointed out, the bill included a number of other things that would never pass.

Based on its actions, the Democrat party has no desire to fix illegal immigration. Building a Trump’s stupid wall isn’t the answer, but some sensible action is needed to keep this kind of mass migration from ever occurring again.

You can look at all the numbers but here is the one that matters:

Number of undocumented living in US (est)

2019: 11.48M (CIS)
2022: 11.46M

2019: 11.11M (Homeland Securiry)
2022: 10.99M
If you were an undocumented living in the US, would you want to be counted?

I actually don't think it's that difficult. Fines and jail time to those who give them jobs. And not easy ones.

Lol. I figured you "question the source". It never fails. It's black and white. 😅

There's a lot of reasons to hate on Trump but immigration isn't one of them. Take your loss and move on.

It's not questioning the source. The number of undocumented people living here today is similar to 2019. That's the rub, that's the stat that matters...

Sorry your God Trump is a failure at this...

He's a failure at this just like Biden and Bush 2...

What was the wall going to cost? $5 billion? Out of over $100 billion in the bill they were going to throw 20 to the border for bulls**t. I believe every border patrol agent they’ve spoken to has said the wall would have been an extremely useful tool. That along with rewriting our horses**t asylum laws among others would help as well.

Lol, you've changed what we were discussing. We were discussing securing the border, not the undocumented people living here. Nice try.

Ive been talking about securing the border AND enforcing existing laws.

If you don't do both, you don't make progress...

Nice try though
