As I don't yours. That's greatness of the principles for which this country was founded. We were founded on a premise that we're all not supposed to think alike. We're supposed to be a melting pot. We make our choices in elections to govern us. Both sides have let us down the last 20 years. Never forget, there are literally more than 2 sides to every issue. Our elected leaders have done a poor job articulating our choices

Thank you for this. I can actually respect this. I don’t agree with all of it but at least it’s something other than feelings based.

I think the immigration issue is a political football for sure. But I also trust Trump to do more about it than anyone else will. As for Putin, I think Trump will get him to pull back. I trust him more than Harris to make both of those situations better at the end of the next 4 years.

As for the judiciary appointments, that’s true with either side of the aisle. I don’t think either side can really say much on that… glass houses and all. I’m not a Miller fan either. I think he’d be better served to move on from him.

I’m not sure what you mean on the science part. If you’re talking about vaccines, I think the last 4 years would suggest that “science” should be taken with a grain of salt and met with heavy skepticism. Trump didn’t handle COVID very well although I’m not sure who would’ve done better. It’s easy to play Monday morning QB… hopefully some lessons were learned but I doubt it.

Science is always difficult when dealing with an unknown. Conclusions change quickly when dealing with an unknown. There was a time table edict given for vaccines. That's the the last thing you want to do when dealing with an unknown. Do you know where the time table came from? He literally bragged about it for a couple of years in front of God and the whole world

Trump wasn’t in office, I’m not sure he was even the nominee at that time.

The reason it didn’t pass is because it wasn’t just about the border, it had so much pork fat spending in it….. it was ridiculous.

He was just vocal about it, it was a bad bill!

How hard is it to pass a bill that is just about the border? We can’t pass a single bill without some of these shitheads putting pork fat spending in it….just deal with the issue! (Both sides are guilty of this)

It was definitely too quick and not tested enough. Biden perpetuated the benefits of it by saying crap like you won’t get COVID if you’ve been vaccinated. If they had just come out and said, “Hey, we’ve tried our best to get a vaccine into the marketplace and we think this will help reduce the spread and the serious symptoms, but we’re learning in real time. As such, we’re leaving it up to each individual to make a decision as to what’s best for you and your health,” then I could’ve respected that. But the mandates and outright lies about the benefits of the shots were too much. Trump touted the speedy timeline but I don’t recall him lying about the benefits of the shots, and he definitely wasn’t on the mandate train. Right?

I'm very frustrated by the cover being provided for Trump's purely political move about an issue that is now the mainstay of his campaign. The hypocrisy is simply mind boggling.

I didn't ask about the budget. The fact is that the border was a minute issue under Trump. We need Hispanics because Americans won't do that work. There needs to be reform. We've been placing bandaids on it for a while. But there is zero comparison between Bidens/the dems handling of the border and Trump's. There's a reason there were thousands in a convoy headed this way the day Biden was announced as the winner. They knew, most people that had one ounce of common sense knew.

I compared it to the budget.

Trump was lousy on immigration (just like he was with the budget). He allowed his ag/construction constituency dictate limited enforcement of existing rules for his term.

Yes, Biden is worse with immigration (just like how he was worse with the budget). Biden sucking more doesn't mean Trump didn't suck...
