Everyone should be regardless of party . Once a debt is determined to be owed , and that debt is paid in full, there should be no residual penalty .

Agreed. If the crime is so bad it deserves a lifetime of punishment the criminal should be locked up for life.

I never have understood stripping someone of any right after the justice system has determined they have paid for their crime and what society has determined to be their debt . Never made sense to me .

This is basically "I have a black friend" politics. Restoring the rights for a handful of minorities makes for a great anecdote to share on Twitter but that's about as far as most want to go

I used to think different until an employee got jobbed by the DA. Completely changed my perspective once I saw the system in action.

The entire justice system needs to be burned to the ground and rebuilt

You seriously can't connect the dots with the information provided? If you were a competitor putting a ton of resources into being the best candidate but lost out on the license because you didn't pay bribes, do you think you would feel like you were harmed by this corruption?

It's not. It's that Trump is the one doing it. Some cannot separate action from the person taking action. Trump did something, therefore it must be horrendous and despicable.

Other countries dont coddle law breakers. There is a reason that crime rate is low in many countries. If the same stuff happened here that happens to law breakers in other countries, you lib whackjobs would go crazy. You blame America for thieves, murderers, law breakers then you cant understand why they go ,back and break more laws.
