Tyndall was a good basketball coach who cheated at a small school like the big schools do and everyone knows the NCAA is going to make an example out of the little guy.

Better than Barnes total career? None. Better than what Barnes has done here? DeVoe and Jerry Green accomplished more.

Aside from Mears and Pearl what coach has Tennessee hired in their history that has been better than Barnes?

Jerry Green, Cuonzo Martin, and Tyndall probably would have been if he’d lasted longer than a year. Barnes is good in the regular season but college basketball is all about what you can do in the tournament. I mean I’m sure Fulmer would have made a terrible hire anyway but Barnes just isn’t going to get us over the hump imo.
