If you’re making the tournament and haven’t been bounced yet-that’s a true stmt. We’re at worst a 3-4 seed? Those generally translate to good chances to make a run.

How much tournament success have Clemson, Texas, and Tennessee had without Barnes?

I agree that a three teams lacked any success without Barnes ,and were/are better off with him then without him as a coach. Barnes is the right guy for Tennessee. I wasn't saying otherwise. I agree with your counter point. I can also see why others are frustrated with him. I'm not one of these that are "off with his head" "fire him" and other knee jerk reactions after they lose.

Good point. I think the more accurate term would be tournament appearances rather than tournament success (unless we’re talking conference tourney too). He’s been exceptional and true to his hall of fame status with regard to appearances. When it comes to actual success at the tournament, it’s been lacking relative to his other achievements here and elsewhere.

he hasnt. That is his problem. I think any player that is offensive minded sees this offense and runs away from Barnes. He cant seem to recruit any shooters or does he destroy them once they get here trying to force defense down their throats ?

I'll gladly eat a plate of crow if they advance to the FF and I'll be right there with you cheering them on.

I’m not sure what the answer is here. I think generally it’s been pretty good. If we compare his ability to snag all blue chips like UK, that’s never going to be UT and it frankly hasn’t worked that great for UK, barring this year vs us (but I’d think their goal isn’t to just beat UT and otherwise suck)

Yes I do approve of how they fought to make it competitive in the 2nd.
