Confucius Say: Celebrate the journey, not the destination.
Yeah, I don’t know if he actually said that, but he should have.
For anyone who claims UT fandom, if you can’t be absolutely stoked over that win last night, then you‘re following the wrong team and the wrong sport.I can understand folks who want to complain about lack of tourney success, but how you can’t at least thoroughly enjoy the season and appreciate it baffles me.
Your opinion is irrelevant. Your telling us that last night didn’t “matter”? Please. How about if we call you, we just call you a non Vol fan and leave it at that?Idk what's funnier, the fact you didn't post this after the BUTCHERING Kentucky gave them last month or the fact that your comment has anything to do with Rick Barnes teams being inconsistent on offense and underperformed when it matters. Call me when they make it to the FF.
Where in my post did I say that?So last nights game doesn't matter?
No my standard is an early tournament exit because that's what Tenn bball is.So final four or the season is a failure? That’s your standard
What are you talking about??? They played a ranked team trying to gain 1st place in the conference and they went back to their offense being bad. Sounds like it was a game that mattered to meYou implied it with the " Rick Barnes teams being inconsistent on offense and underperformed when it matters.". Don't run from your comment or just show up after a loss.
I went over to my dad's to watch it with him. I can't watch them all but try to when it's against a good opponent. Why on earth would I watch it if it didn't matter? You implied it with the " Rick Barnes teams being inconsistent on offense and underperformed when it matters.". Don't run from your comment or just show up after a loss.
2 things can be true at the same time. Somehow I can post this (on the 1st page too):I can understand folks who want to complain about lack of tourney success, but how you can’t at least thoroughly enjoy the season and appreciate it baffles me.
Exactly. It's just like football in the late 90's. We didn't win big enough for some. Now look at what we've been thru. Barnes won't be here forever. I, for one, will savor every game and every win. We're talking a 3 or 4 seed not trying to find a way to get into the tournament. Enjoy these years while we have them. Good times.I can understand folks who want to complain about lack of tourney success, but how you can’t at least thoroughly enjoy the season and appreciate it baffles me.
I don't wish to argue with you, when you are obviously not following your own conversation. Now look who's running from their comment. You too, buddy.
