Why are you telling me to get rest? I wake up at 6 am every morning or earlier and read some sports and get ready for work. Im fine. Don’t ever tell another grown man to get rest. SMH either have the debate or don’t respond but don’t ever tell a grown man to get some rest..
you’re obviously saying that bc you can’t defend Barnes, you can just chalk it up to, just another negative fan who doesn’t know anything , or someone who needs rest?? You and the rest of the sunshine pumpers can ride this firey train all the way to the end.. I mean I will too but I know the outcome.

Just being a realist. And like I said to the other gentleman.. don’t tell another grown man to go to bed over a football forum.. either speak your opinion or don’t respond. Bc telling someone to get some rest when they are up and bout to leave for work after they’ve slept 8 hours.. that just looks silly on your part.

Except Buzz Peterson didn’t get paid 5 million a year. Barnes set the bar of making the tournament now he has to be able to do better. People that are fine with mediocrity are normally mediocre themselves irl

The whole country knows what Rick Barnes is. Yea he’s gonna do fine in the regular season.. but is that all we want?
You people that have all your faith in Rick Barnes are going to be severely heartbroken this year.. then you will need the rest honey boo.

Your posts scream “this guy is exhausted”. Some extra rest might give you a different perspective on CRB and the UT basketball program.

I wouldn't disagree, but my point was broader than that. When you are a non-blue blood program, you should be very careful about running a coach like Rick Barnes out of town. Texas fans thought the grass would be greener under Shaka Smart ... it wasn't.

I guess people are happy with Tennessee basketball being okay in the regular season and never doing much else.. like you said the coach is one of the highest paid in the country and underperforms every year in the post season.
I want Tennessee basketball to do what Tennessee baseball is doing rn.. lighting the world on fire!! I honestly don’t think Rick Barnes is the guy. Never has been never will.

I know I’m probably going to get blasted for this , and part of me really believes in coach Barnes but we have to ask ourselves, is the coaches style outdated boring, and honestly those post season woes makes you wonder if the style even translates to when it matters most.. I know we don’t have any options that’s out there, like a big fish I guess.. but look at TV he was an assistant coach and pretty much everybody overlooked him. He’s done wonders for Tennessee baseball, and it’s because he’s fierce, young, and a go getter with a winning attitude.. maybe just maybe after this season Tennessee finally starts closing the chapter on the Rick Barnes era.

Just won 27 games and the SEC tourney for the first time in 40 years is the only response needed to your nonsense. But, it’s to be expected from someone as tired as yourself

1) Totally disagree that Tennessee's style of play has been boring under Rick Barnes... and his 10-7 record vs Kentucky isn't boring me either.

2) Barnes's recruiting has been inconsistent. Tennessee doesn't reload. However, to say that his recruiting overall has been horrible, wouldn't be true.

3) Your perspective is suspiciously negative... you are probably a Kentucky troll.

Dude makes 5 million a year.
He’s been to the final four once is his entire coaching career.
He failed to compete with the other bigs in the sec after he won a freaking sec championship. I mean this years recruiting class is weak. Yu can’t even defend it.
No transfers just people transferring..

And got a weak recruiting class and still hasn’t gotten any big name guys from the portal.. you would think he would take that momentum and be able to do something with it..
