So we won SEC Tournament first time since 1979 and you use the IF & BUTS as a qualifier. I'm sure you are wringing your hands about Taxes for next year April 15, 2023, is just 1 year and 3 days away. You need to get things in order. I hate to be that guy to tell you but time goes by fast. I'm just saying could be the beginning of the end, the IRS is mean.

Lol. I'm the board Pessimist but it's a little early to throw in the towel on next season. We've got the bigs coming back Aidoo and 'Kamwa' which could provide the base for a better front court and Plan B in scoring. This team will take on the character of the Z and I wouldn't count that kid out in any fight. 4 open slots. Aint no tellin what next season holds.

Wow.. I literally made a thread to discuss Tennessee basketball and my opinion on it.. I was just expressing my concern and how unfortunate it is I just don’t think Barnes is the guy we need..
I get called a troll even though I’ve been a member since 2008. You can look at my past posts and see I’m no troll.
Instead of being able to reasonably discuss why y’all think barnes is the guy to continue to keep Tennessee forward. You just start yelling trolls and he’s tired and he doesn’t know what he’s talking about… that’s enough volnation for the day y’all have a blessed day.

I’m sorry to be the guy.. but I’m probably right on this being a horrible season and Barnes fans will turn on him… you probably will too.
I haven’t I’ll support my vols no Matter what. If I’m wrong.. I will gladly come back to this thread and give you props sir.

I know I’m probably going to get blasted for this , and part of me really believes in coach Barnes but we have to ask ourselves, is the coaches style outdated boring, and honestly those post season woes makes you wonder if the style even translates to when it matters most.. I know we don’t have any options that’s out there, like a big fish I guess.. but look at TV he was an assistant coach and pretty much everybody overlooked him. He’s done wonders for Tennessee baseball, and it’s because he’s fierce, young, and a go getter with a winning attitude.. maybe just maybe after this season Tennessee finally starts closing the chapter on the Rick Barnes era.

Please: There's nothing wrong with UT's system under Barnes. Tony Bennett has the worst offensive system in college basketball--and he won a national title. As for the NBA, it's grotesquely overrated as a sport. It's essentially a 3-point shooting contest every night. Of course college basketball has been trending in that direction for years, as well--but that don't make it right!

Dude, I was a Vol through Wade Houston. I was a Vol through Dooley and Butch. I've experienced all the lows. It's fair to say I support my Vols no matter what. I'm not even convinced you're a Vol fan.

Okay he won the sec tourney that’s awesome.. but what did he do with that momentum on the recruiting trail or in the portal??
Is next years roster going to be better without , KC,BHH, FuLky, and Bailey? Definitely not my friend.

I do think we should start looking into other candidates for the future. But this thread is the first time I’ve ever took this side of the fence on Barnes.
Why is that wrong ?
