Rickea Jackson - Mississippi State Transfer

Oh SH@T. And I thought he might have changed, or at least was being heavily moderated this year. On the other hand I was suspicious of the "I back Kellie" routine this year.

This poster has an almost pathological need to cross the line between make believe keyboard coach and achieving actual personal contact with actual players. An internet personality run amok.

Don't worry, the UTAD is aware of him and warns parents about him. Astounds me that he occasionally gets some recruit wannabe to "train" with him. Quickest way to get the LVs to drop interest is involvement with him. Thus he is bitter toward the administration. He actually thinks they should hire him.

This is next level interference though and I hope there's something they can finally do about it. On the positive side I really don't see it swaying her decision. She's been around long enough to know that sadly, everyone has their weirdos.

I was floored when i saw that! I didn't want to bring it here but see how quickly S#!* gets around and some of you wonder why when people say recruits see stuff we say and it could hurt some people laugh! Well there ya go! Proof ... and the poster DOUBLED DOWN instead of just deleting
This is different. This is a forum someone has to seek out, set up an account, log on and search for criticism. Those kids wouldn't know or care old school forums like this. If their parents do, its very ill advised as all families of high profile athletes are well aware. It's no different from folk in the stands mouthing opinions during the game. Comes with the territory.

What dumbass did was directly contact a recruit (and not just any recruit) on a platform he knew would reach her on. Again, he can't keep off the personal side of the line, crave actuals personal involvement, and that's weird and scary. And very different from this discussion forum. We may talk about them, but never, ever to them.

Thank you to the two twitter accounts who checked him ... LV nation would LOVE for Rickea to be in TN orange 🍊 and would back her every step of the way!

You people talk worse than that about your own players throughout the process of winning 24 games and counting.. if your upset about this then show the same courtesy to every single Lady Vol. And start cleaning up VolNation. This recruiting nonsense is ridiculous.

Please be careful to say "some of you people" on posts like this one in the future because it is most definitely not ALL of the posters talking trash about them.

.

Ehh, it's Twitter, people do this all the time on Twitter. I would not put this at the level of some of the past stories shared here. And there's definitely nothing much UT can do about this, it's a private platform where people can make accounts and send messages to other accounts, all of which are public and visible. It's just regrettable and unfortunate that Tennessee has to be aware of it, or be "associated" with it, to whatever small degree they are. Like they don't have enough to do already.

Actually, because of past incidents, they might consider at least banning him from games and from any contact with players. Of course that fuels him and he will tweet til he's blue in the face though.

No, it’s definitely the majority and I’ll stand by that. You people, majority, most… frame it however but I’ve read where players on this board get absolutely dragged for struggling in games.. making mistakes… going through slumps and not very many of you who are at the defense of this recruit outside of maybe a few will even attempt to show support for the player(s). Until they win again..

Folks, it is not helpful to re-post CoachJ's major mistake. Please consider deleting them.
CoachJ's twitter response was posted on here earlier and I responded to it. Subsequently, that post about Coach J's twitter post and all replies to it were deleted by the mods. Unfortunately, it has been reposted.

It does happen. But there are also trolls who are not fans that contribute.

My questions is why haven’t they done this yet? I just hope that the many players/recruits that have experienced this from him realize he’s not near important enough for them to give a single **** what he says. The problem is, he sure thinks he is.

CoachJ, I truly wish you would strongly consider apologizing to RJ for what you said to her. I can't help noticing you have expressed zero regret for saying what you did, and that is disappointing. If you don't see anything wrong with it, then own it. If you do realize it was wrong the least you could do is apologize. Your vague "me too" response to someone else's post saying they were shocked by your tweet is still wrong. If you're trying to say you didn't do it, you should say that.

I worked all evening, just got home.
This is the reason for the lapse.
I have already sent an apology to Rickea

There is just something really creepy about 60+-year-old men stalking 15-20 y/o girls on their Twitter pages and then being a bully about it at the same time. This guys seems to have a history of it.

"Lapse" meaning you were tired from working and it was a lapse in judgement ?
Or was "lapse" the time between your tweet and the apology ?
