Just because you weren't good enough to play anything beyond the high school level doesn't mean others weren't.

I am not the one claiming to be a damn expert. You are no better than thousands of college golfers and have NO reason to be so freaking smug.
I played college baseball and many of the guys I played with and against played major league baseball. Hell I played on a national champion baseball team. That DOES NOT make me a swing expert.....and here is the kicker.....nor am I claiming to be.

I never said I played the tour. I wasn't PGA tour good, but was good enough to play D1, letter and make all-conference. Also had the opportunity to play with some guys who have had great suceess on the tour.

Instead of offering any type of legimate opinion on the thread topic, you've strayed with your incessant need to discredit me. While I can offer sound support of my argument and opinion, you have nothing to offer. Not surprising. It's not even a reach to say YOUR opinion isn't very qualified. You don't have one. you could have just said you can't prove it because you're full of it and saved all that typing. seriously, if you're who or what you say you are, you'll simply point us in the right direction so we can learn about your golf career. otherwise, you're just some fool who has read enough books about golf history to spout off about former and current players.

as for the tread topic, Fowler is a decent young player, but i'm not going to label him as anything more than that until he shows he can consistently play on the tour. i'll be more than happy to talk about his game in 5 years, after we have some sort of idea about the player he is.
