ok so that goes to show that the people are pissed. everytime i have seen these politicians dodge the questions or do not give straight answer. Like when one was asked if they would be on the same health plan as everyone else.

if these were true town hall meetings i could understand why the dems are upset. unfortunetly every person asking a question is hand picked by obama's staff.

The irony is that these are tactics of the left - both the legit anger and the staged protests - yet the left (including you) are claiming outrage and suggesting this is un-American.

Show me one single example where you've called out lefty protesters for shouting/expressing their anger in a way that makes polite discourse possible.

I repeatedly posted disagreement with labeling war protesters as un-American.

Plenty of the shouters are legitimately angry - yet you and the Dem leadership seek to shut them down under the new found interest in calm discourse. Please.

Your kind and your party should never be forgiven for the treatment you gave our soldiers and their families during Vietnam.

The pieces of filth should not be given the chance to answer any thing when it concerns government control of our lives.

I'm glad you said that because my father, when he returned from Vietnam, received some of that treatment. He still talks about how he felt, after being gone for so long, when he got off the plane, in uniform, to people screaming "baby killer" and even worse things. He was 19 years old at the time.

I just saw an interview with a couple who attended the Dingell town hall meeting in Michigan where a guy shouted at Dingell about care for his son with cerebal palsy.

BTW - the couple were Democrats.

1. questions had to be submitted and were hand picked by Dingell's staff.
2. loud reaction only occurred when Dingell gave incomplete or misleading statements (people asked for more info but it was not given by Dingell)
3. pro-HC bill folks were allowed to have signs and were escorted to the front 4 rows.
4. a guy was carrying a sign depicted Obama as Hitler outside the meeting (beforehand). Afterwards, the same guy was giving out pro-Dingell (D - Mich) literature - they felt he was a plant.

Pelosi, Hoyer and LG are completely out of line in thinking this is all R staged. Folks (R and D) are angry and want their representatives to give real answers. Calling that un-American is the biggest joke I've ever heard.
