I got a bad mental condition. I'm inclined to laugh at everybody, and darn nigh everything. Looking at the stupidity of the human race, it's a joke we presume to label ourselves homo sapiens sapiens. I figured out long ago that life is really easy, but humans make it hell.

- liberals suffer more from anxiety and depression
- people with anxiety need CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy), and the world is offering them reverse CBT. Instead of the attitude "a lot of this is in my head, and it's not as bad as it seems," it is replaced by "this is a catastrophe, and it's because the world is completely ****ed." They talked about somehow right-wingers can have so much distrust in institutions and have this same attitude that things are totally ****ed, but it seems to make them happier. I guess the explanation is it's not coupled with anxiety?

They talked about how quickly this happened, since liberals were so hopeful in the Obama era. They had a completely different identity and now the driving force is just shaming/scaring people into siding with them, and it's not been a winning strategy for the party or resulted in good for America.

There were plenty of other interesting points that are escaping me.

Yep. Most of them had already paid back the principle plus tons of interest. Easy to understand it from the voter perspective. Not nearly the same thing as a billionaire endlessly soliciting donations but also selling merchandise. All just to pay his debts. 😉

Good chance a capitalist has a job with insurance…they can advise where to get individual insurance, steer in the direction of Medicaid or faith/mission based free care. Just takes ambition
