RIP Twitter

Mods here just handle things with the click of a button. Software “engineers” there probably do pretty much the same thing. I’m sure some write code and create programs to silence “misinformation” and shadow ban users.

The way I look at it..good software engineers dont need a mass of supportive software engineers. I get evolving threats and attacks, but 3K? In fact if you Google it..they are saying that the exit of (5) SE would shut it down.
I went to a Facebook Center once..gotta say they are pampered with Chefs and such. Looked like a good gig. You would of thought you were entering CIA HQ and the building was a mausoleum.

Engineers, security, support, analysts, qa, infrastructure, dba's, designers, ux, etc. I can see their needs being very large

It's really getting serious now!

. This is the left. Whoopie who dated Ted Danson while he went on stage in full blackface (ok because they dated, so not racist) defending Kathy who thought it was good idea to hold up a severed head of 45. Gotta pick a lane left, time running out starting tomorrow.

I assume you work for a government contractor or a local government entity with the amount of support you think a company needs. It's amazing how few people it takes to make something work like a website once it's up and operating. Ask Freak how many people he has keeping Volnation running, besides a dozen moderators?

How many of those companies are still in business and how many are government contractors?

Since you don't understand American government, I'll fill you in. The President has limited power. CONGRESS has the power. The president is NOT a king, an emperor, or a dictator. The president is supposed to have limited scope of power. I know frumpy has your mind eroded with power tho. We know you are working with the kushners, and the russians. That is not American government tho. That's how it works in russia.

Good Lord. Take your meds.

Is pretending to be someone else to produce misinformation “free speech”?
It's actually a crime in most or all states, sometimes punishable by severe penalties. I've been reading up on online impersonation/ defamation, and in many cases, it is deemed as a crime against personal character, similar to libel or slander.

It's not difficult to understand how allowing such activity could be quite dangerous or damaging. Online posts are fairly untraceable by the public and unverifiable. Say, for instance, that someone created a false identity using my name and position. If they spread thoughts, pictures, or claims that were unprofessional or damaging to my character, it could really hurt my practice and livelihood. I fully believe that we should be protected from that.

You’re wrong
This is clearly musk hypocrisy
Or huff is a partisan hack.

I think it’s the hack option

If there are any real attorneys on the board, I would like to know if platforms could be held as accessory for defamation lawsuits if they allow false impersonation content.
