You act like you refuted me but you just showed 2 links that indicate Tesla is moving back to CA, which is pretty crazy considering they moved a year ago.

"Partial" HQ return he says. Got him!

So no what I pointed to was you didn’t read what the hell happened and jumped the shark and I showed that. There was no “partial HQ” move the corporate HQ is still in Texas, where it moved to a year ago along with his personal residence.

So no once again you trip over your Johnson trying to do a victory lap on Musk. That’s on you kid. GTFO.

Bottom line is that despite the right wing wanting to call California, and especially the Bay Area, a hellhole, it seems that all the tech engineers and code writers still want to live there and don't want to move to Texas (which is a hellhole, I know, I went through a year of advanced flight training there). Needless to say they can't find enough people in Texas smart enough to do that work. (Before you argue that point, then why is Tesla relocating the engineering departments?)

Elon may love Texas, but the top of the tech pyramid doesn't.

I think the funniest part is that Teslas are illegal to sell in business-friendly Texas

Well, the article indicates that you have to leave the state of Texas to buy one. Not sure what was inaccurate or what your point is. I assume you think the fault lies with the government that has banned a business model that should be legal.
No, you can buy one in Texas, but you have to order it online (not in store directly from Tesla) and have it delivered to your home. That's how most people get them everywhere else, as well.

The law was designed to protect car dealers.

I misread it. My mistake.

Yeah, go buy a $60k car online that you can't test drive unless you know somebody who has one.

I think "test drives" are a thing of the past. Most people today know what they want in advance.

Different subject, different thread.

This is the same state where truck companies will slap on a "Texas Edition" emblem and jack up the price another $20K for all those buyers that feel inadequate out there...
