I don't care about Musk or Twitter all that much. I've never had Twitter, but of course I've clicked on countless tweets posted here and other social media sites before.
I can easily see how it's devalued simply by the limited engagement for non users, like not showing replies or related tweets..... That's obviously counter to the standard model of feeding the user non stop related content all the platforms (FB, Reddit, Tiktok..) have built into their algorithms.
I've got two questions about the present user experience as opposed to how it was before Elon.
1. Haven't you stated something to the effect of the porn has become obtrusive? How is that different and hasn't the porn always been there? I have a reddit I occasionally use. The reddit interface is set up to easily filter out NSFW content so that it's not shown on your feed. Can you not do that with twitter?
2. Is "community" a misnomer with the community notes feature they've added, or is the info really curated from user engagement? Did twitter previously use Snopes or one of the fact checking sites? Is community notes an improvement?
