IMO it boils down to this. Leftist, not all but many, get real pissy when conservatives are able to attract ears and eyes. They don’t like it. What we are seeing in Europe with the “Hate speech” arrest is what many leftist in America would love to see. Again, I can’t stress that I don’t believe that to be a mainstream leftist view. YET. The “Bill Maher democrats” or traditional liberals despise hindering free speech. The Aholes we see on the MSDNC and other left leaning outlets would gladly shut down Rogan, Fox News, etc. in the name of “Saving Democracy”.
