to the first point - expressing one's self and offering products for sale are distinct activities. a corporation can say whatever it wants (within the bounds of existing 1A restrictions). generally the truth in advertising laws are there to reduce market friction by relieving the consumer of the burden of evaluating product claims or preventing the use of products than can cause physical harm.

product claims can be objectively proven true or false. Opinions, viewpoints, etc cannot be objectively proven true or false (despite your and Obama's insistence that the government could do so).

you are conflating product claims with individual expression of ideas, opinions, viewpoints

Confusing times for all. I'm sure there are a lot of coal rollers who currently are in love with the head of an electric car and alternative energy company. Who also happens to be an African American 😂

The bigger hypocrites on this particular story though are the left. I do not remember anywhere near this level of hand-wringing from the right with Bezos bought WaPo. I certainly remember people saying he would use the paper as his mouthpiece, it would not be objective, etc., but do not remember any conservatives fearing for the future of the country because of it or outright saying he shouldn't be allowed to purchase it.

Ultimately, I think almost none of these people freaking out over it and claiming they'll leave the platform will actually do so.
