RIP Twitter

Twitter 'whistleblower' leaks video of Dorsey telling staff actions will be 'much bigger' than Trump ban

'This is going to be much bigger than just one account, and it’s going to go on for much longer than just this day,' CEO says

Project Veritas has released a video featuring Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey talking about how social media censorship “is not going away any time soon.” Dorsey says in the video that the company should be considering a “Much broader approach” to how it manages conversations on its platform.

“We are focused on one account [President Trump] right now, but this is going to be much bigger than just one account, and it’s going to go on for much longer than just this day, this week, and the next few weeks, and go on beyond the inauguration,” said Dorsey in the video.

“We have to expect that we have to be ready for that,” continued the Twitter CEO. “So, the focus is certainly on this account, and how it ties to real-world violence.”

“But also, we need to think much longer-term around how these dynamics play out over time,” added Dorsey. “I don’t believe this is going away any time soon. And the moves that we’re making today around QAnon for instance, is one such example of a much broader approach that we should be looking at, and going deeper on.”

That may be the biggest piece of nothing I've seen in awhile.

Has the guy been a quisling douchebag his entire life?

Social media is one of the worst things to ever happen to this country, and seemingly the fest of the world too.

I have said this before...and like clockwork some dbag chimes in to let me know that VN is in fact social media. Um.... OK. As much as I enjoy getting news about my Vols and lots of other stuff in nearly real time on VN...and as thankful as I am to Freak for making this site free, which I am.... when Bookface, insta...tweeter etc etc are included as social media....America was much better off without them.

I could list a bunch of reasons. Sure you folks can think of a bunch too...not all tech especially those aimed at convenience, have been good for humanity. In fact, many have been terrible.

This once great nation and the world are screwed. Worry all the time for my kids .

People seem to be getting dumber and dumber. You know, I mean we have all this amazing technology and yet computers have turned into basically four figure wank machines. The internet was supposed to set us free, democratize us, but all it's really given us is Howard Dean's aborted candidacy and 24 hour a day access to kiddie porn. People... they don't write anymore, they blog. Instead of talking, they text, no punctuation, no grammar: LOL this and LMFAO that. You know, it just seems to me it's just a bunch of stupid people pseudo-communicating with a bunch of other stupid people at a proto-language that resembles more what cavemen used to speak than the King's English. - Hank Moody

We are strict constructionist on the 2a. Firearms allowed for those in a well regulated militia. Funny how Republicans are holier than thought about adhering to the literal wording of the Constitution... except for the 2a, which they interpret.

See, liberals today can’t even read and don’t understand the purpose of a comma.

Tucker Carlson always has a way of putting things.

When it comes to Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey and the Project Veritas video that was dropped last night about his comments on the Twitter banning of President Donald Trump and the general crackdown, Tucker nailed it. Cracking down on speech and freedoms is just for our safety, don’t you know? You’re protected when you can’t speak.

Access to.information doesnt make a person smart.

I think he wants to know whether or not you believe in what it says not just that the document exists
Thanks for clarifying.
Yes I believe in what it says. It's a great framework that intentionally left itself open for evolving interpretation.

If it was argued in 1930, then it is obviously up for interpretation.
To me it means rational and reasonable rules and regulations for gun ownership.

But not for voting. Anyway there’s a reason for commas in the 2A as well as the line “shall not be infringed” which all gun owners are victims of.

Thanks for clarifying.

That’s right. In 1776 they fought with muskets and cannons. Weapons have evolved and so should the people rights to own those weapons. The exact same ones the government possesses.

You should read the interpretations of those who actually wrote it

Unlike pussboy from Facebook who was visibly shaking in his boots in front of Congress, twitter owner dbag was arrogant...like he didn't fully understand that he isn't a Clinton or Biden.... and his billions don't make him prison proof.

Can't wait til twitter is in the same trashcan as MySpace and Facebook...hope he is dumb enough to not insulate himself and he ends up penniless. He can dig ditches with the rest of us that he looks down his smug little nose upon...

I got bad news for you. He's gonna die rich
