RIP Twitter

It's a joke. People make jokes on Twitter.
Oh, I get it's a joke. It's just kind of a lame joke. I'm not suggesting that there is anything wrong with it. I'm not being hyper-sensitive, or saying that it's offensive, or anything stupid like that... it just wasn't funny and kinda dumb.

I get the premise - he buys Twitter and people freak out and claim he has any number of evil plans so he takes another iconic product and makes this joke about it.

It's a joke about the reaction to his buying Twitter. The premise is good, the execution is "meh"

If you thought that was funny ... then you are a stand-up comic's dream. You will laugh at anything.

It’s not funny to you because everything he does now is under a microscope to validate your decision on leaving Twitter , because of him . It’s funny to us because we don’t care and because we know there are thousands doing the same thing you are doing .

On a serious note, it wouldn't be a bad idea for someone to buy Coca-Cola and change the carbonation back to where it was in the 70's. If a person wants a soft drink which tastes like Pepsi... then they will buy a Pepsi. There are two reasons why fewer soft drinks are being purchased these days : The public is more conscious of avoiding sugar and the empty calories of carbonated beverages, but soft drinks also don't taste as good as they once did.

I wish someone would make a lower sugar version. The diet stuff tastes like crap but I don't need the regular stuff to be as sweet as it is.

One of the reasons McDonalds cokes (or Diet cokes) taste different is they keep the carbonated water chilled which keeps it's fizziness more intense.

Those guys are operations people. Have you ever noticed that they can put a cup under the soft drink dispenser and it fills itself without the fizz overflowing? I remember many years ago reading how much they spent on getting the pour rate and mix just right to do that. That was back when other places had a lot of their employees wasting time filling a cup, waiting for the fizz to go down, and then top it off. Multiply that by millions of pours.

LOL. It's like he stole your dog and wife. Been fun to watch
I'm just here because I predicted that this was a bad bet/investment/vanity move by Musk. The large knuckledragger contingent of VN maintained it was a stroke of genius and blasted me. So I'm gonna enjoy watching this deal implode.

I’m here because it’s hilarious and I don’t care how much money he makes or loses off the deal . The price of admission is free and the return for me is 1000%
