RIP Twitter

Jan. 6th was a dog whistle. We all lost in 2016 cuz, 2020 is the beginning of finding our way back.

LOL It's okay to hate Trump but also admit Biden is doing nothing but continuing to drag us down at an accelerated rate. Saying Biden is the beginning of us finding our way back is laughable.

It's sadly laughable because it's true.

lol. The left cried about the fabricated Russian bs the entire time and was screeching impeachment every other breath. There’s no doubt the corrupt mail in bs played a huge role in the fraudulent election. I have no doubt there’s 81 million complete morons out there I just don’t think they made the effort to vote for an inept, demented, 50 year political failure.

Most of the proven fraud has been perpetrated by Trump supporters, but you keep screeching about the fraud.

That's because Dems are incredibly smart (can pull off massive, far-ranging undetected voter fraud that would involve hundreds, if not thousands of people) and incredibly stupid at the same time. Makes perfect sense.

Care to name even one sign that Biden has us "on our way back?" Just one.
There's an ongoing thread for that, but here's a biggie

Highest appointment of federal judges since Reagan
Biden has appointed 41 federal judges in his opening year at the White House. This is more than double those appointed by his predecessor Donald Trump and is the most a president has appointed in their freshman year since Ronald Reagan in 1981.

The president has also been mindful of issues of representation in his appointments over the last year, as 80 percent of the new federal judges are women and 53 percent are people of color.

It’s absolute blind stupidity.
Biden is everything they claim trump was.
... and Trump is everything that we claimed Trump was. Republicans in Congress such as Rep. Kevin McCarthy and Rep. Steve Scalise, will even acknowledge that, when they don't know that they are being audio recorded.

It’s not about moderation. It’s a bunch of ******* Nancies who are melting down because they believe certain people will no longer be banned for sharing thoughts that go against the collective political persuasions of Silicon Valley.

I mean, everybody should be kinda worried about moderation. I love sports and I am not very sensitive to offensive people and I stopped going to the ESPN message boards because there was no moderation. It was awful discourse.

Internet message forums and chat rooms will always devolve into havens for profanity-laced insults and sexual innuendo if left unmoderated. I'm not offended by any of it, but at age 48, I'm not interested in being a part of it either. By the standards of college team sport's sites, VolNation is well-moderated ... but if you took away the mods for a month, it would be a cesspool by June.

That's hilarious. So, an unprecedented degree of appointing more liberal/progressive judges, whose political ideals are the very reason we are in such a tailspin.

Nice work.

Biden didn't appoint anyone. He didn't know any were even needed. His posse hasn't told him yet "he" did that.

Judge appointments always give the economy a boost.

Tyrannical behavior you were worried about (rightful so or not) has increased 200% under Biden and only a blind hack would argue otherwise.
You can keep your but Trump….look over there…. garbage. The rest of use are talking about today.

That's cause they all keep quitting on him.

Oh, it's number one. If he does nothing else, his election would have been worth it.

Someone on here (I wish I remembered who) made that claim about Trump and his appointments.
I said at the time I loved it and would be sure to use it in the future.

Off topic :

Stephen Miller is a creepy-looking dork, with an arrogant, pretentious and smug manner. He seems very impressed with himself, but it's not clear what for.

On topic :

On the subject of free speech, it now appears, that on recently released audio recordings from January of 2021, that House Minority Leader, Rep. Kevin McCarthy, was advocating for some of his fellow House Republicans (including Rep. Matt Gaetz, Rep. Mo Brooks, and Rep. Louie Gohmert) to have their Twitter accounts suspended for things they said on January 6, 2021.

I haven't seen any conservatives / Republicans / Trump supporters criticize McCarthy for these attacks on free speech. I also haven't seen anyone from the right, point out McCarthy's blatant lies, hypocrisy and two-faced nature. He has been very critical of Democrats for doing the exact same thing, which he can also be heard doing on one of those recordings.

Don't tell me that conservatives have a double standard for Republicans now. That would be so disillusioning.

You didnt see where I had said McCarthy is a Rhino sleeper who should not be the next speaker and that actions such at these are clear evidence of it?

To say that I disagree with your unsupported statistic would be an understatement.

Things we have not seen under Biden, which we did see under Trump :

1) Nepotism. You can talk all you want about Hunter Biden being a coke-addict, who has used his dad's name and stature to make money, but unlike Jared Kushner, he doesn't have an office in the West Wing. Neither does Ashley Biden. As a matter of fact, if Ashley hadn't kept a diary, most Republicans wouldn't even know that Joe Biden had a daughter. Unlike Ivanka Trump, she has kept a very low profile and has a life of her own. She doesn't do interviews and she doesn't make public appearances.

2) A Cabinet full of Corrupt and Self-Enriching Members. Can you name a single member of the Biden cabinet who has resigned due to a conflict-of-interest, wasteful spending of tax payer dollars, or due to an act of self-enrichment?

Because I can name 4 such members of the Trump cabinet:

1) Scott Pruitt (EPA Administrator)
2) Ryan Zinke (Secretary of the Interior)
3) Tom Price (Secretary of Health and Human Services)
4) David Shulkin (Secretary of Veteran's Affairs)

3) Emoluments Clause Violations. During his 4 years in office, Trump tried (albeit, unsuccessfully) to steer the G 7 Summit to his Doral property, he required Secret Service Agents to stay at his properties at tax payer expense, and he funneled money from his 2017 inaugural committee into the Trump Organization.
