Per Twitter, Rivals has updated the 100, but made no mention of the 250. They would have posted it if it had been updated.

Still working on the 250 but all the people on here saying Tom Smith, Brian Randolph, AJ Johnson, etc getting 4* just isnt true.

Duh. People seem to think all our threes are going to become fours every year though.

I was watching the 2009 UT vs Bama game on CBS S and saw on the bottom line that they are reporting that Bryce Brown has transferrred to KSU. I know we all have known it was going to happen but this is the first "official" report that it has happened. I didn't realize the appeals process has been completed.

How the hell do you update your rankings when you don't even have a scout covering one of the most talent rich state in the country? I've always said Rivals is the best recruiting site on the net in the past but they are an absolute joke this year. No justifying some of their ratings. When are they going to get someone to cover Florida?

If those 3 do not get bumped to a 4* by NSD then Rivals is an absolute joke this year!!

Also I dont see how Kerbyson doesnt get bumped up to a 4* when they update the 250, his offer list is ridiculious!!

Thats just people talking if you look back to where LV or whomever said they were getting a 4th * you will see that it is conditional, for instance Smith has to have another solid year, Randolph has to show that he has recovered from his injury, and AJ probably has to show something too, however if Kerbyson doesn't get one then that is pathetic it doesn't take a rocket scientist to realize he has a damn good offer list of those offers most if not all are commitable

damn... well so none of our players got bumped to 4 stars ?

:dunno:Don't get it ...that would have improved our recruiting class.....maybe they will be upgraded later...we need to improve our class so we can compete. That would have surely helped...

They have not updated the Rivals250 yet. The ratings are not completed.

I think Smith will be a 4star because Michael Langston says so.

I think Coleman has a good shot based on where he is ranked.

Posey and Randolph have a decent chance.

But those are all by NSD.

Kerbyson and A.J. Johnson are the only 2 that I think should get a 4th star in this ranking.

How do you have 92 TD passes like Worley has in just 2 seasons and only be a 3 star?

He can transfer, regardless of the appeal. It's just a matter of who pays; KSU scholarship or arranged thru his handlers.

Recruiting rankings do matter. A programs recruiting can tell a lot about how the program is doing and how it's viewed by others. I don't know if I give our program too much credit, but I feel like even when UT is down we shouldn't be out recruited by schools like UNC and Clemson. UT has so much to offer to a recruit that being ranked top 15 in recruiting shouldn't be hard. Auburn was able to pull off a top 5 class after Chizik was hired, it's not like they have more to offer than UT. I do believe Coach Dooley will get us a top 15 class this year, but eventually he'll have to consistently get top 10 classes to compete will UF and Bama.

Rivals doesn't care about stats to an extent. Look at Jeron Toney. His stats say he should be a 4* prospect. But his talent evaluations says he's a low 2*.

damnit... well all you people saying we would have a crap load of 4 stars bumped in show bend over and take it right now...lol

I dont know why anyone ever thought a bunch, if any would jump. The only one that had a realistic shot at jumping was Kerbyson.

There are way more 3*'s out there who blew up a lot more this summer than any of the Tennessee commits, except for maybe Kerbyson.

And they shouldn't. A lot more 3* guys had better summers. Every year its the same crap on here. Certain fans think every one of Tennessee's 3*'s will eventually make the jump.

The only one who realisticly should IMO is Kerbyson.
