There's just something about orange pants that looks gaudier than the orange jerseys to me, but I wouldn't care if they wore all white all the time. Good point, though.Everyone who dislikes the orange pants/white shirt combination, do you also dislike the orange jersey/white pants?
You talking about the same combination. How can orange jersey/white pants look good but white shirt/orange pants look bad? Its the exact same combination.

White and white with and orange helmet with white power tee---that would be different, but probably aweful.
Sorry, dude, but IMHO that's urp-some.![]()
I don't mind the Orange pants for road uni's...but i'm defintely against the orange on orange look at home...here's a rendiditon that some one did a while back...i like the orange collar and cuffs...and the orange pants with a dual white strip would be cool. and i still want the fat stripe on the helmet.
I would just like to reiterate what I said yesterday...the top programs are always recognizable. Look back over time...when was the last time Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, LSU, Texas, Ohio State, Michigan, Nebraska, Notre Dame, USC, Penn State, Florida State, etc. changed their uniforms. Who changes uniforms all the time? Kentucky, Vandy, Miss. St., Duke, Maryland, NC State, Oregon, etc. The only good program I can think of that changes all the time is Miami...and who the hell wants to be like Miami?
Notre Dame doesn't come up with a different green uniform. They just wear green jerseys occasionally. What exactly did USC, Mich and Ohio St. change? I must have missd those.Ohio State changed their home/red unis this year, Michigan changed their away/white unis last year, USC changed there unis about 4 or 5 years ago to what they are now, and Notre Dame always comes up with a different green uniform every now and then. Plus FSU and LSU both have alternate jersey combinations. So I dont think its a bad idea to mix things up a bit every now and then.
There was one year that Notre Dame had white jerseys with green #s. The green jerseys they wore last year were obviously a lighter shade of green than the season prior. Of course ND always loses when they wear green. USC changed the way their stripes look on the shoulders. That's the only significant changes. UGA and Michigan changed the material for their unis but opted not to add the infamous Miami stripe on the lower back portion. We need to go Nebraska style. Orange jerseys/white pants w stripes home, white jerseys/orange pants w stripes away.Notre Dame doesn't come up with a different green uniform. They just wear green jerseys occasionally.
