Rivals just rated Hubbs the #39 player in the class of 2013. Rivals has also stated that he is among the fastest risers in the country and is a real possibility to be 5* when all is said and done.

Does anyone know if we are pursuing him? If not we should be.

It appears one of our coaches were at DC this week to check in with Robert. Also Billy Donovan was there yesterday, and Stallings supposedly dropped in as well. Glad to hear we are interested.

I can't for the life of me figure out why we have not offered this kid yet. He is one of the top shooting guard prospects in the country and is a Tennessee kid. I wish the staff would pull the trigger on this one.

Don't think he will go to UK. He plays for Calipari lite right now.

I don't think he will go to UK either but, if he does I am afraid it will be a reverse Chris Lofton type of situation. We will regret letting him go. I have seen him twice this year. He has an amazing and versatile skill set.

FWIW we have actually offered him according to scout, sorry if it's already been posted.

It'd be nice if we could lock Hubbs up. He's a great in-state talent and would make a big impact on this team. We really need to key in on him for the class of '13.

It is my understanding that some of the larger profile schools are starting to gain interest. Almost everyone in the SEC has offered at this point.

It's obvious that the shooting guard of choice for Martin is either Hubbs or Thornwell.

Anything on Hubbs? Have found zilch.

He is now about 6'5 and still growing. Could get to 6'7 and is a pure SG. Very good guarding on the ball, and is athletic as any guard you will find in the country. Honor student and a high character kid. When asked to has been able to score at will. He is surrounded by some good players as well and gets them in position to score due to the attention he gets every night.

If Hubbs keeps up his play he is going to be a 5 star. Dyer is 17-1 and he is rising fast and the sec coaches are all over him. Dyer's only loss was to Southwind, who will most likely take home state.

D. County is killing teams, not just winning games.

At this point I think it is a coin flip for best team in the state between Ridgeway, Southwind and DC. Dyer County lead most of the game against Southwind. Lost by 4 I believe. Southwind iced it at the line. I don't think it is a foregone conclusion they will win state.
As far as Hubbs goes, it is my understanding that there is now increased interest from some of the Elite programs UK, UNC, UCONN, etc. The possibility of him being a five star is very good. His length and ability to guard on the ball would be a great fit for CCM scheme. If we land him would also be a great scorer at the 2.
