Orangelo, will you put this profile on the first post of the thread you made for hubbs. We are trying to get all the profiles for the recruits on the front page of their threads. Thanks!

Robert Hubbs 6'4" SG TN class of 2013
per espn- 3* #28 grade-90

(this guys stock is rising by the second, this evaluation was 8/8/11)

Strengths:
Hubbs is an incredible athlete who is just starting to realize how good he can be on the hardwood. He can score the ball and always tries to excite the homefolks with some acrobatic antics in the air.

Weaknesses:
Athleticism is not in question but strength and the ability to grasp the lead guard spot will be his growth expierence. He has the skills and despite being asked to score, he has the capability to get everyone involved. Decision-making will bring him into another level.

Bottom Line:
This athletic combo guard has drawn the attention of many in the SEC and the Southeast and has garnered a number of offers.

I found this clip on you tube of Hubbs doing a couple of dunks. It doesn't really look like he is trying that hard but gives you an idea of his build and athleticism. I forgot to mention he has now been measured a legit 6'5" and is actually approaching 6'6".

I took a little drive tonight to Dyer County to see them play a fairly solid Brighton team. Hubbs absolutely went off! He had I think 30 points in less than 3 quarters and had 3 of the nastiest dunks you will see at any level. He is the complete package. I hate to say this because I am orange thru and thru but, I just don't see us pulling him. I would imagine when UNC, Duke and UK start putting the press on it will all be all over.

That's my guess. I think hubbs is unc/uk, jw3 is Memphis/uk, king ut/memphis/nc, and Nichols ut/duke. It really seems like these kids are probably going to all go different places IMO, maybe that's got something to do with each school only being able to say, you're our main man. Example, king says in his interviews josh pastner has told him many times your our main guy, your the one we want most. How does that look to jw3, and hubbs? Just my 2 cents, I could see uk getting hubbs and jw3, us with Nichols and king I really don't know. I feel he's really intrigued by NC.

On Another note, orangelo:

Can you keep us up to date on scores and progression through tournaments with Memphis teams. Let us know which teams make it to Murfreesboro and when they'll play please. That info is hard to come by sometimes, much appreciated.

Anybody got anything on Hubbs?

Real quiet recruitment.

From what I'm hearing around here he has got several elite schools that may be throwing there hat in the ring real soon. Many of which haven't fully evaluated him yet. If I had a guess, he will make a commitment sometime this summer. I figure after the AAU circuit has run it's course.

How serious a player is Tennessee?

A summer commitment from him would be just what the program needs.

This can get merged with his thread if preferred, but for such big news I though it was thread worthy.

Anyone following his recruitment knows its been very tight lipped and that he isn't the type to just throw different names out every week. This is GREAT NEWS!!!

“@FutureOfHoops: 2013 SG, Robert Hubbs, of Dyer County HS (TN) gave me his top 6: Tennessee, Auburn, Mississippi State, Vanderbilt, Florida, and Mizzou.”

How far away is Hubbs from Knoxville?

6hrs. If it is any consolation Robert's dad reminds me alot of CCM. He also instills his values as well. With that group I could definitely see UT as a major player now. To say I'm excited would be an understatement!
