I've heard that mostly, but recently..... the 3rd is still a possibility. I hope he doesn't do that to himself.

Ok so easterwood also said he thinks it's down to Tennessee and Memphis and its between those 2.....HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

They've already got Crawford committed at the 2, are going after Johnson and many think will get him who's a 2, and now hubbs who's a 2.....yea not happening.

Easterwood continues to provide entertainment though, seems he just tries to get the Memphis fans riled up more than anything.

I have pretty much always held the belief that Memphis was competing for Hubbs.

We made a bet on it, if you'll remember.

While I'm not sure of Easterwood's exact quote regarding a "2 horse race", Easterwood is more tuned in to Memphis area recruiting than you or I. He's not simply making stuff up, although I'm wouldn't stake my rep on what he says being 100% accurate. It's certainly not 0% accurate.

Hubb's recruiting has been very fluid. Auburn resurgence after they were one of his favorites. Memphis' fall from one of his top schools. The emergence of KU, UK, UCLA. He's a hard one to read.

At this point, I wouldn't put much past him.

He and his family have been pretty open in naming schools, when the last time he named Memphis?

It wasn't long ago you were telling us how easterwood and Parrish were going on about Memphis and Nichols...those talks have died so now it's hubbs turn. Talk to me when hubbs pledges to UofM.

Parrish was going on about Nichols, Easterwood was just on his show with him at the time.

Regarding Hubbs, Vol fans: Just pray Kentucky gets the Harrison twins. Because if they end up at Maryland, this story will not end well for Tennessee.

I've said that for awhile now since UK contacted. It's one of those deals where we want Cal to actually get the guys that he wants.

When would be the earliest that we could see Hubbs committing to a school. Also, who is really in the lead for him, us?

Not true.

He's leaning towards committing and signing early, he said with other schools UK calling, he may wait, but the plan is still to committ early.

If UK misses on Harrison's then he may wait, but if they land them it's almost a certainty he committs early.

"Hubbs, too, like most everyone else on this list, has benefitted from a tremendous rise up the rankings. Hubbs might have had the best summer of all the Big Six (Crawford and Nichols have valid arguments, as well) and vaulted into elite 5-star status. Three weeks ago, Hubbs had an orderly top 5 of Auburn, Duke, Florida, Georgia, and Oklahoma State, with Vanderbilt closing ground fast. Since then, however, Kansas, Kentucky and UCLA have entered the fray. The Bruins offered over the weekend, and Calipari will come to Newbern before September is out to lay his eyes on the prodigy. Hubbs is an explosive athlete with a real killer's instinct, a tremendous outside shot and hops that a pogo stick would envy. He can score at anytime on anybody. This will be the recruiting chase to watch; it's way too close to call. Recent speculation centered around Hubbs going to Vandy, and then a Hubbs-Nichols package deal (they played together for M33M this summer on the travel circuit), but Hubbs' camp seems to have scuttled such talk. Robert will definitely take all 5 visits, and once thought he might sign early but look for him to still be on the board until spring. Stay tuned, we will update you as the situation warrants."

This dude is saying Tennessee isn't even in hubbs Top 5/6....yet hubbs listed Tennessee in his top 5 before he reopened.

This guy is the only person in the US that thinks UT isn't in Hubbs Top 5, c'mon man, be realistic.

As I said, either this dudes a moron, or well no this dude is just a moron.
