Robert Hubbs SG TN '13

No not at all...I'll find 50 better qualified people that all say this guys wrong, wanna play that game?

This dude is saying Tennessee isn't even in hubbs Top 5/6....yet hubbs listed Tennessee in his top 5 before he reopened.

This guy is the only person in the US that thinks UT isn't in Hubbs Top 5, c'mon man, be realistic.

As I said, either this dudes a moron, or well no this dude is just a moron.

Hubbs hasn't announced his top 5, so any person that takes a stab at it is guessing.

You act like his top 5 is set in stone or something.

Run and find some articles about some other guys guessing on Hubb's top 5 if you think it helps your cause. It doesn't.

But we get it, you REALLY want Hubbs and Nichols to commit to the Vols. Anyone who insenuates otherwise calls down the thunder. We get it.

Really man. Really? Your on. UT board accusing us of being homers? Not to mention its fairly well documented that UT is a major player for Hubbs and that article didn't list us ANYWHERE.

As far as the "WE get it" crap goes, I'm fairly certain that's just you.

Please excuse MC and BTO. Bickering back and forth is sorta their thing.

UT needs to find an updated list since UK, KU, and UCLA got involved. With the old "favorites" included, if UT is still in Top 5, that's the best you can hope for today. May change tomorrow, after Harrisons' sign, who knows. If you're realistic, game has changed but UT may still be right in there.

The funniest part is your boy Leroy in an article prior to this one, it was the inteview he did on radio with hubbs, listed hubbs final 5/7 and it included Tennessee.

Dudes a moron just admit it, hubbs is apparent 7' according to Leroy now, grew 3" over night.

Agree 110% the game has changed and I've said that, but to omit Tennessee who has been in his tips all along, and is one of two schools guaranteed an OV, seems a bit ridiculous to me.

People like galilee, who I trust much more than this idiot, have shot down his entire article, so it's not just me thinking he's being a bit unrealistic.

Is there any updates about this kid and the recent new players involved? Hubbs has been a lot more vocal than others in his recruitment so I'd love to see what he says about the UK's and KU's of the world.

Hasn't said much since when he mentioned they were involved. Since then all he has done is lock up an OV to Tennessee for the Florida game(his only OV scheduled)

TIFWIW

I'm wondering how hard they are pushing for him. He didn't say that he might wait to sign late until these other folks came calling did he? Just curious to see if he does indeed wait to sign later and if so, how much of that has to do with these new programs. I'd imagine a lot. Either way, pretty sure everyone can agree that the later he waits, the worse for us.

He said at the time that these schools coming around could have him push his committment until spring. Basically here's what I see, it's no secret UK's top priorities are the Harrison twins, 2 guards. If UK lands the twins, theyre committing in october, then it's likely IMO UK and Hubbs cool on each other, and he makes his decision early. If UK misses on the Harrison twins that could be trouble for UT.

Rest assured that the final scenario is that if UK offers he goes to UK, if not he's a Vol book it.

You're hanging your hat on a height typo to invalidate this guy's opinions?

As for Hubbs' top 7, you can easily be in the top seven and not the top 5. 7 is more than 5. 2 more.

Seems to me, my "boy's" article meshes pretty well with Rob Lewis' article. Is Rob Lewis now a moron and biased against UT?

So in other words...Harrison's please go to UK.

As recently as two weeks ago it seemed an almost forgone conclusion that Aaron and Andrew would ink with UK. As of today it's a two horse race to the wire with Maryland and pretty much a toss up. Their decision to attend Maryland Madness instead of UK's may mean nothing but it doesn't sit well with me.

ouch. I had no idea they were skipping out on BBM to go to Maryland. Either way, Hubbs would be a backup choice that is likely a backup his soph. year. I don't know if I would like that but I aint Hubbs so we'll see.

Really it meshes with Lewsis' report?

Lets review...

Lewis says UT in hubbs top group
Leroy makes no UT mention

Lewis says UT in Jw3 top 3
Leroy makes no UT mention

Lewis says UT still the leader for Nichols
Leroy makes no UT mention

So please...inform me how those reports mesh?

Leroy only gives percentages for 2 "named" schools for JW3 and Nichols, and nothing for Hubbs.

That means Mizzou, Mich St., UT, etc. were listed in the "field" for JW3.

UT, Auburn, Duke, Virginia were listed in the "field" for Nichols.

Lewis also didn't say that UT is the leader for Nichols, he said that UT may not be the leader for any of these three.

You just seem to be upset because Watson didn't say that UT was the leader for these guys. I don't understand why there isn't the same level of indignation for Lewis, when they're saying basically the same thing.

That was a shocker to me. I agree, it may end up meaning nothing, but it sure isn't a good sign.

Watson gave UT a 5% chance or less for Nichols and jw3 iirc

If you think that's what lewis is saying then youre seriously not worth conversing with

Lewis said UT is in Jw3 top 3, sorry that doesn't equal 5% chance like Leroy said.

He then says about Nichols that Vandy isn't the leader, and UT is still in contention to be the leader. Once again doesn't equal 5% chance like Leroy said.

These 2 articles are no where near relaying the same message, sorry to burst your bubble.

I think you really need to take a sec and re-think your position on this. A team can be in a player's top 3 and still have less than a 5% chance at garnering a commitment.

Again, why are you not mad at Rob Lewis for saying that UT isn't the leader for all three of these guys?

Leroy Watson isn't claiming that UT doesn't have a chance with them, or isn't in their top 3 even.

Once again...if you think Lewis is saying UT has a 5% or less chance at Nichols and jw3 then you're flat out wrong.
