Yeah, we certainly don't want anything to do with him. I mean, what have either of those programs accomplished lately? We need to get another genius out of the North Carolina sticks.

UT doesn't need Marve or Harris. They both suck and at best would be an even trade with the duds we already have.

Again, I'm reminded why I pay little attention to your evaluations. I'll be sure and pull this up when Harris is starting in a BCS bowl, Marve is doing fine wherever he goes, and the Three Blind Mice we have are continuing to vomit all over themselves.

I heard Marve was suspended for being 15 minutes late to a class. May not be the problem child people seem to think he is.

hat, I know you are also a Miami fan, but I don't get the love for Marve. I remember him being a stud recruit and I thought he was headed to Bama. It worried me a bunch and was relieved when he went to Miami. I have watched a couple of games and was thinking he hasn't lived up to his hype. Am I missing something? What part of his game impresses you?

Feel free to bring this up. If Harris is in a BCS bowl it will be because he rode the team, not vice versa.

I have seen nothing from either to make me think they have the poise and/or QB IQ to become elite.

If Harris ever starts in a BCS bowl game and everyone gives him credit for it, I'll wonder why Casey Clausen never won the Heisman trophy. The announcers hyped him up at the end of the game about how he "prefers to play in the clutch" and what does he do? He goes Tony Romo and turns the ball over giving Cal the go ahead TD. Then what does he do? He has a horrible final drive in which he wasted a good 35 seconds off the clock after he chose not to run out of bounds, had a jerk session instead of spiking the ball, and just looked like a fool doing so. Seriously, if Harris gets to the BCS games, it just shows how bad the ACC really is.

Sources told CaneSport that Marve has been granted a release to transfer from Miami by Coach Randy Shannon, who also fired offensive coordinator and quarterbacks Coach Patrick Nix Monday night.

Marve is believed to be transfering because it was clear that Jacory Harris was going to be the starter for next year.

There have been rumors that his destination will be LSU or Tennessee, but none of that is confirmed at this time.

You guys seem so enlightened by South Carolina coaches...why not one of our QB's...I think it was Smelley that is transferring to you . Good luck with him. LOL.....

I don't know that I like the idea of Marve transferring to us. He would have to sit out next year and Kiffin will land a top QB or two in the next class. Unless Crompton starts next year, Marve would have to battle it out against the previous season's starter and Kiffin's guys that he brings in. Waste of a scholly, imo.

To be honest, I don't really care about him coming in, because we'll still probably pull a top 2010 QB, and if we get him, most likely, we get Orson Charles.

If Kiffin likes him, he'll get him. You have to remember that we didn't have a QB in last year's draft and will likely not have one in this year's either. It couldn't hurt to get Marve.
