Robert Morris transfer F Aj Bramah

The guy can play. If he's willing to play defense, sign him up.

I always had my doubts about EJ. He seemed like a below the rim player, and that really doesn't work in the SEC. Now, if he would be rebounding at a high level, then maybe, but he just doesn't seem to be SEC level talent.

Funny, I remember all the talk about EJ before the season and how good he was going to be for us, same thing with plavisic

Not every transfer has his feet nailed to the floor like EJ. There will be some good players available.

This guy would probably be a good addition, if we can cut someone else loose. Uros, EJ, maybe even Pember. Otherwise try to save the scholarship for a true post player.

I think he’d basically help fill some of the void left by Pons. But what about Corey Walker?

There was definitely that talk, and I was hopeful, but the videos I watched just didn't show the athleticism that matched the talk. With a 7 footer, sometimes they can overcome a lack of athleticism, but when you are 6'6" or 6'7" you better have some good hops.

As for AJ, his athleticism is obvious. Now, can/will he play defense and rebound? I don't know.

I would suggest watching some tape..he’s a 4 or small ball 5, game isn’t similar to EJ at all really.
He’s 6-7 185lbs, if he’s playing 5 the other team is gonna eat him alive on the block. Sounds more like a 3 and a small ball 4 depending on the opposite teams line up.

He’s actually 6’7” 210lbs...Herb Jones at Bama plays the 5 primarily and is 6’8” 210lbs.

Jarnell Stokes and Grant Williams have entered the conversation.

How many key contributor 7 footers are in the SEC? On Top 25 teams?

Don't know,
What I do know, they are like rocking horse poop in Knoxville. I can't recall the last " big" a REAL 6'10- 7 footer we had that was a difference maker.
This team is missing a TRUE big man and a TRUE point guard. With the exception of a couple of years hear and there this seems to be the norm in Knoxville.

Stevie Hamer. Len Kosmalski. Marcus Haislip and Kyle Alexander were good not 7 footers. Doug Roth was Uros but on not so good teams that gave him a lot of minutes in an era where that kind of size had rules advantages.

Hathaway and Black.

Roth was much better than Uros imo.

Haislip and Alexander werent 7 foot.
Steve Hamer was absolutely 7k’. Knew him personally and had classes with him. He was a very good player on a very bad team. Knee injuries ended his career, but he did manage to start a few games in the NBA.

I said “not 7 footers”.

Hamer, Kosmalski, and Boerwinkle are the only true 7 footers that were regular starters.

Never averaged double digit scoring. Career 7.6 ppg and 5.6 rpg. They are nearly the same guy IMO. Both are better passers than scorers.

LoL. Dumb take. Roth wasn't that good, but he at least played and contributed. Same guy, how stupid
