The "woo" is lame and sucks. The problem is we, as a fan base, have let it stick around so long that many younger fans see it as tradition or just part of the song.

We should have snuffed the "woo" out like we did the similarly lame "Smokey's on the prowl ... Grrrr" and how we're hopefully about to be rid of "Third down for what?" (Which was ok the first season, but got old real quick).

From what I’ve seen it’s mostly the ladies in the crowd that woo, or at least they do it the loudest. Guys have this thing about doing things that might make them look less than invincible sometimes it’s in our dna. Heck, I say if our enemies hate it....bore it in deep wide and hard.
